Strawberries
She didn't even have to turn around; Kaoru recognized immediately that Momoko was behind her- thanks to the red head's strawberry vanilla shampoo. The tomboy whirled around on her heels, holding her hat for a moment before lazily greeting the red head with a casual "Hey".
"Hi!"
Momoko giggled, raising her hand in emphasis. The green puff frowned; curious at her friend's playfully cute behavior. The pink puff placed the basket on the grass, and sat down. Kaoru did the same, wishing Miyako was there as she had never been the type to start up conversation.
"Let see…I have some sandwiches, juice, cake of course…oh and strawberries!" The red head beamed, holding up a container full of bright red fruit.
"I don't really like strawberries…." The tomboy muttered, trying her hardest not to sound rude or ungrateful.
But then again, as to why Momoko wished to go on a picnic suddenly, and with out inviting Miyako, didn't exactly make Kaoru feel as though she was actually being treated to an event. The green puff looked up to see her leader staring at her with big, pink, innocent eyes.
"Kaoru-kun, you don't like strawberries?"
As the girl shook her head, Momoko went into a moment of thought. After a few minutes she snapped her fingers and quickly opened the container and took out a plump strawberry. She placed in her teeth and suddenly moved her face close to Kaoru's. For a moment the tomboy refused to take it, but it was soon clear the red head was not going to give in so easily.
The green puff took a small bite, only to have the rest fall and her lips suddenly meeting Momoko's. It took a split second for the two to jerk away, both interesting shades of pink. Kaoru swallowed what was left of the fruit and turned to the pink puff, whose cheeks were as pink as her eyes.
"I think I like strawberries now."

This is what writer's block does to me. Oh well…it was at least a little bit cute right? I plan to do a similar one with Miyako and Kaoru next. This was originally going to be MiyaKao but I figured strawberries would be Momoko's thing and thus this is the result.
