"Harry, this is going to look so fake and ridiculous," Teddy said when he was picked up from his grandmother's place.

"Oh come on, it will be fun," Harry smiled at the eleven-year-old boy. Harry wanted to spoil his godson and take him to the Muggle Circus. They planned these little trips every weekend since Harry and Ginny broke up. There was supposed to be a Magician there doing magic tricks for the audience, and Harry was excited to go for the first time.

He took the small boy by the hand, and they left for Harry's fun-filled family day. Teddy was very well-spoken and mature for an eleven-year-old, which Harry supposed was due to growing up with Andromeda. As if his abilities weren't enough, his language was also formal and archaic.

Harry and Teddy got cotton candy and blue slushies and took their seats early, so they were in the front row near the one exit. The rose quartz tent was still empty as they walked inside. The circus looked traditional, the lime green chairs were placed in a ring around the centre, which held an empty platform where the events that took place. They watched the crowd of Muggles streaming in, children of various ages holding lollies and popcorn, toddlers with sticky fingers and parents looking resigned as if they were only doing this for the kids.

Harry had never been to the circus before, and he would never admit it, but he was more excited than Teddy was. He didn't want his godson missing out on anything he missed out on as a child, and soon Teddy would be off to Hogwarts, so they needed to make this day memorable.

They watched as the clowns and the elephants. The trapeze artist was Teddy's favourite; Harry had suspected this as he loved flying as much as Harry does.

"If I were a Squib I would do that," Teddy said, pointing at the trapeze artist swinging high above them in the air, with no net below him.

"Mmmm," Harry said, pretending to think. "Could I be a lion tamer then?" they both chuckled.

"That's your dream, isn't it?" Teddy said jokingly. "I'm sure you could do it." Teddy continued with a wink at Harry.

The crowd went quiet as a man with a long white beard and a black cloak stepped out — the Magician himself. All eyes were focused on the man as he did his tricks. The man was hypnotic; there was something about him that made all the eyes in the room focus on him and nothing else.

"Hey, Harry," Teddy whispered softly.

"Yes?" Harry asked, suddenly distracted from the man on stage.

"Isn't that a real wand?" Teddy asked slowly.

Harry gasped when he realised that Teddy was right, it was a real wand.

"That's the Elder Wand," Harry said in surprise. He was struggling to calm himself down.

Who was this strange man? Was he a wizard? How had he gotten hold of the Elder Wand?

After the show, Harry tried his best to track down the mysterious man, but he could not be found. He thought about working harder, but he realised the time. He needed to get Teddy home. He was overcome with different emotions. Was the wand a replica? The man only did tricks, no actual Magic, so it was possible, but what were the odds that it would look exactly like the Elder Wand?

Harry was planning on coming back and getting to the bottom of this mystery, next time, without Teddy, he will search until he found the man, and demand the answers. He was going to figure out the mystery of the Elder Wand, one way or another.
