Short and Sweet story. I don;t know where it fits into the series, but it seemed like a good idea. Set when Leo and Piper have been dating for a few months.
Soulmates.
Piper Halliwell smiled to herself. She was finally beginning to believe that she was in love. After a string of bad experiences she had learnt to hold her guard whenever she got that funny feeling inside, but now Piper was starting to accept that this feeling was real.
And it was all because of Leo Wyatt. He was the person responsible for all that she was having to endure, and yet she wouldn't want it any other way. It wasn't her fault. No no no. She had tried very hard not to like him, but he just had to sweep her off her feet, didn't he. He just had to bring round flowers for two weeks in a row, to persuade her to have dinner with him. And she eventually did, after a couple of distractions. Once when they had to banish some demon, and another when Prue fell ill, and Piper had to look after her with her sister Phoebe. But they did make it to dinner, and it was very nice. So nice, in fact, that they went to the movies the next week, attended Pipers friends birthday the week after and had been dating steadily ever since.
Knock knock knock. The sound woke Piper from her daydream. she went to answer the door. Leo stood there, looking flustered. "Leo? Honey, hi, whats up?"
"Piper." Leo swept her up and gave her a kiss. "I need to tell you something."
"What happened?"
"Nothing, but Piper, I must tell you something very important."
"Um, Ok, I'm listening."
"Look, this is hard for me to say, but, but-"
"Is it Prue or Phoebe?" Piper asked, scared for her sisters. Leo sounded very nervous and agitated.
"No! Um, Piper, I- I love you!"
Piper did a double take. "Pardon?"
Leo took a deep breath and calmed himeself down.
"I said, I love you." He smiled.
Piper looked at him carefully. She wasn't sure what to think of all this, but deep down she knew that he really did love her, and that even she, loved him.
"Leo, I, I love you too."
"You do?"
"Yes, I do!"
They embraced, put Leo pulled away. "One more thing." He said.
"Yes, Honey?"
"Do you believe in soulmates?"
Piper looked at him funnily."Yeah, I think I do."
"And who is your soulmate." Leo ventured further, hoping it would be the answer he wanted.
Then and there Piper knew this was the man who she wanted to spend the rest of her life with. Without hesitating she looked into his eyes and said, quite simply. "You."
See, Piper and Leo were meant to be together. This really contradicts the other story I wrote, Forever. Its somewhere in this section aswell, but it doesn't have a happy ending.
