Hawke,
As your friend I feel it's only right to warn you that you can't keep doing this. I know you like to have your fun and with the way things have been lately, I can understand why you'd want to let off a little steam. But you can't go around defacing city property.
No, I don't care that it is technically dedicated to you. You can't draw a mustache on publically erected statues just because they have your face carved on them. The people of Kirkwall need a symbol to rally around while they try and rebuild; or so the nobles keep telling me, and that's a lot harder to do when they're all busy giggling at it instead.
How did you manage to get up there anyway? No, scratch that. I don't want to know.
I'm just not sure what you hoped to accomplish? I mean it isn't like the craftsman forgot to carve your beard or anything and he certainly did a better job of it than your smudged paint job.
~ Still somehow your friend,
Aveline Vallen.
P.s. I really hope it was Isabela's idea to paint giant handprints on the statue's backside and not yours.
