He was drunk, completely consumed in pleasure and wanting more by the minute.
Alexander raised his glass to his mouth and drank slowly, looking over the rim of his cup.
Before him lay his obsession and as the wine drained down his throat, Alexander let his emotions and passion take over again. Putting down his cup and joining a sleeping Hephaestion on his bed, he woke his lover with kisses.
The one cup of watered wine he had drunk hardly left of mark but the beauty in his arms was all consuming.
He would never get his fill of him.
