"~Swim this way, we'll dance and we'll play now~"
"Ariel, is this really necessary?" Roxas spat through gritted teeth. How many musicals had he done since entering this... this underwater theater? He had been sent to collect hearts, but why was he sent to Atlantica, of all places? The only heartless here were pure-bloods, so they proved useless in heart collection. Roxas had yet to collect a single heart, and this annoyance- er, mermaid- was hindering his progress.
"Of course, Roxas! It's fun!" Ariel stopped her music, and promptly jutted her lip out to pout. "Why don't you like music? It's all we have to do around here." She twirled a strand of scarlet hair absently.
Roxas sighed. "Ariel, I'm working. I have to eliminate heartless, remember? That will help both of us." He growled inwardly as her sulking continued. "I don't have time for this!" Sheesh, so much time with Zexion was rubbing off on him.
Ariel's pouting increased. Roxas mumbled something inaudible, then turned to lock eyes with the mermaid. "Ariel, I will do one more song with you, but that's it. Then you have to leave me alone so I can work."
Ariel's eyes lit up and her pout instantly curved upward into a beaming smile. "Thank you, Roxas! You're the best company we've ever gotten!" Roxas was abruptly pulled into a hug. Roxas patted her awkwardly; he wasn't used to all of this affection.
Let's just get this over with...
After exactly thirty-two choruses of "~Swim this way, we'll dance and we'll play now, it's very easy, come on in, just take a chance and shake a fin!~" the dreaded concert was finally over.
"Alright, Ariel, see you later. I have to find that giant Neoshadow now." Roxas swam away, exhaling a sigh of relief, when he was grabbed from behind. "Ariel! What is it now!"
Saix, I hate you SO much right now for giving me this mission...
The musically talented mermaid giggled cheekily, then dragged Roxas back to the makeshift stage. "Come on, Roxie! Let's sing another song!"
Roxas growled at her, struggling to remove her hands from his abdomen. "Ariel, let me go! I told you already, I have to work. It's getting late, Axel and Xion will be expecting me in two hours, I still haven't even found that heartless yet, and all this music has given me a migraine!"
Ariel just tightened her hold. "No, Roxie. We're going to sing again! ~Swim this way, we'll dance and we'll play now~"
"NO!" Roxas finally jerked away. "Screw this! I am aborting this mission, and never coming back here again, EVER!" He swam away in a huff, his face red and his muscles sore from all that cursed dancing. Ariel didn't come after him this time, which was probably the most intelligent decision she had made today. "I hope that Neoshadow eats you alive!"
And with that, he stepped through the dark corridor.

"Larxene, your mission today is to eliminate a giant Neoshadow in Atlantica."
Roxas smirked and silently thanked Saix for assigning this mission to the Savage Nymph. Now Ariel would really get what was coming to her.
