Also my first Sakura and Ino friendship story. So don't expect it to be having any yuri! =P
I'm dedicating this to niniheera for a job well done on finishing her first chapter of her story. Also I hope you and NFN girl would make up again!
So Nini, this is for you!
SUMMARY: They had been so stupid to think that Sasuke would pick one of them and at the end he had just left them in the dust. Both had not gained anything from that but instead only lost their friendship. And now, they think it's time to make things right.
There are no pairings in this oneshot but there might be some SASUINOness.
Realization
Ino Y. Uchiha "Ami"
It's been over 3 years since Sasuke left, 5 years since they had become rivals and a year since they had become friends again.
They realized that their friendship was more important.
They had been so stupid to think that Sasuke would pick one of them and at the end he had just left them in the dust. Both had not gained anything from that but instead only lost their friendship. And now, they think it's time to make things right.
…
Without Sasuke, they had been able to focus on their training more. Without him, they were able to reach their goals.
Sakura took over the hospital of Konoha while Ino became the Head of the Interrogation office.
Their lives were in a much better state now that Sasuke was gone and that their friendship restored.
They just realized Sasuke was not worth it.
…
Then one day, Sasuke came back to Konoha and was immediately sent to the interrogation office, with Ino as the interrogator.
(Ami: I'm becoming too lazy to write the next part…to make things shorter, Ino asked why he came back and he replies because of his love for her and all that stuff)
"Sorry Sasuke but…" Ino started. " I don't want anybody hurt anymore and me and Sakura got over that childhood crush. I suggest you should find another. But don't worry…we can still be friends!"
"Ah…I see." He said. "You know, you really changed a lot, Ino!"
"Thanks."

(Ami: Again, I'm too lazy to write it in but this part is where Ino tells everything that happened in the interrogation office—which I probably skipped—etc…)
"I'm so glad that you have chosen me than Sasuke, Ino." Sakura replied.
"Yeah… you too."
This was kind of rushed. You could see from the skips it was rushed. I really wanted to publish it and didn't even have the time to reread it. So, if ever there is a person who'd be kind enough to check my grammar mistakes, I give you my thanks!
