Alex and I were getting ready to visit his friend Sig Curtis. I worried about visiting them in my current state seeing as they lost...

"Bella, darling, are you ready?" Alex asks

"Alex, are you sure about this?" I ask laying a hand on my stomach where our first child is growing. Alex gently lays his hand ontop of mine

"Don't worry darling. Everything will be fine." I nod and we get into the it had lessened, my worry was still there. Alex and I were expecting our first child while Sig and Izumi had lost their first. Would they take it well? Would the pain be to much? I don't want to hurt anyone. Alex holds my hand and gives it a reassuring squeeze trying to calm me down. Finally making it to Sig and Izumi's home and I wasn't suprised to see what Sig looked like. It was no suprise that he and Alex are friends. I smile upon seeing them

"Sig, Izumi, this is my wife Bella." Alex introduces me

"Hello. It's nice to meet you both." I say bowing slightly

"Nice to meet you aswell. You know you look like that Roy Mustang guy." Izumi says and my eye twitches at being compared to my brother. Alex laughs and lays a hand on my shoulder

"Roy is my twin brother."

"When they were younger they were identical in looks." Alex teases and I lightly elbow him in the gut

"Quiet or I'll go hormonal on you." I threaten

"You already do love."

"Your fault." I relize what I said and my eyes go wide. I was about to apologize, but they were smiling. I felt guilty seeing the sadness in their eyes and smiles

"Congradulations you two. A child is a blessing." Izumi says "Now, how about we let the men talk?" I nod and follow her inside

Sig and I watch our wives walk inside the home

"Bella had almost talked herself out of meeting you." I say looking at my friend

"It's really are a lucky man Alex." Sig says "Children are gifts." I nod smiling

"Quite so. Chosing a name seems to be the hardest thing since it is to early to tell if the baby is a boy or girl. I'm actually hoping for a son though I think Bella is wanting a girl."

"Who knows, mabye Bella wants a boy too." we both laugh and continue to talk about difrent things

"How about Leo for a boy?" Izumi asks as we sit at the table drinking tea "Seems to fit a son of Alex's."

"I like it. Leo Armstrong... Leo Strong Armstrong." I agree "That will be the baby's name. If the baby is a boy."

"A fitting name for a member of the Armstrong family." we share a laugh before our husbands walk into the kitchen and both of them were laughing making us smile. We stayed and talked for awhile before we left though I stopped at the doorway when a though struck me. I pull Alex away to discuss it with him

"Alex, why don't we make them the baby's godparents?" I ask

"Are you sure?" he asks taking my hands in his "This is a big decision." I nod

"I'm sure. I just wanted to know if you agreed."

"I think it is a wonderful idea darling." I smile and we walk back to the couple

"Izumi, Sig, we have a question for you." I say "We want to know if you two could be the baby's godparents." thry both gasp then Izumi smiles

"We would love to." she says laughing lightly while Sig nods. I smile and nod. She hugs me and we actually say our goodbyes leaving. I felt happy that they had accepted and knew that if anything happened to Alex and I that our baby would be in good hands.
