A/N: This story really doesn't have a huge plot. It's just a scene I wanted to see, but I couldn't think of anywhere to put it. Anywho, enjoy.

Gwen's jaw dropped. The old stone wall that surrounded her house, once tall and stately, lay about the yard in chunks. Her room was ransacked, the entire wall ripped off to reveal Gwen's now filthy room. The ruin was visible from the street, which was where Gwen was now.

"Oh, god," Gwen said as she hurried toward her room from the outside. She leapt over the fallen drywall with ease. Standing in the middle of her room, she cast a quick spell to find out if anything was missing. Nothing came up. She let out a pent up breath of relief. Finding the keypad next to the front door, she keyed in the code to shut the alarm off.

Then she got angry. This was the third time this month! Gwen's fists balled. She gave herself a few seconds of rage, and then started looking. She was nearly positive she already knew who did this, but it never hurt to be sure. She found her answer in a few minutes. A footprint bearing the distinct shape of the standard issue Forever Knight metal boot was imprinted in the soft dirt of the flower bed outside her room. She glowered.

Then she sighed. If she didn't clean this up quickly, her mom would be onto her in a flash. And she had so much work for school…

Gwen set herself and began a spell to remake the walls. It was going to be a long night.

"I just can't believe they did it again! I leave for half an hour, and disaster strikes," Gwen frowned at her smoothie. "Fixing the bedroom all the time really takes it out of me. I can hardly focus the next day."

"How many times has this happened?" Charmcaster asked.

"Three. Three times. And what kills is they don't even use the gate! The big gate right in front of my house, wide open and waiting. Or the door! They just break the wall, all the time, just to spite me. The trample the flowers and tear down the fence wall and I just want to punch them all."

"Whoa, princess. Getting a bit violent, are we?" Charmcaster teased. Gwen frowned tiredly at her friend.

"Do you know what they want?" Charmcaster asked from across the table. She sipped on her own strawberry mint smoothie.

"Of course. This old pair of gauntlets I found that gives the wearer invincible hands and increased strength. They claim they belonged to a former Knight, but they're full of it. It's old alien tech we recovered."

Charmcaster smirked. "You know what I'd do? I'd make 'em fix it. Trap them when they come in, and set them to work. See how they like repairing the damage."

"How?" Gwen asked halfheartedly.

"Control, of course." Gwen looked at her, her eyes burning. "Oh, don't get your panties in a wad. It's not evil or– "

"How do you do that?" Gwen interrupted, and Charmcaster finally saw the glint in her eye for what it was. A thirst for payback. Charmcaster gave her friend a sly grin.

"Let me show you."
