HEY PEOPLE OF FANFICTION! LEO IN THE HOUSE!
So this story is of my own concoction, but I had to pick a category, so I picked Twilight because of the whole Werewolf/Werecat association. Well, here it is, please enjoy!
Chapter 1
"Dad, do you want the world to envelope itself in a black hole that will surely enhialate all of mankind as we know it?"
Staring down George Night - my father - was not easy. Because, more often than not, he would stare back at you. Also, he never blinked. Which scared me - slightly, anyway. I wasn't scared by many things.
"Oh c'mon Jade! Hiking might be fun." My father had this cheesy grin that made me want to pet him. But then again, I had very strong will power.
So I was determined to complete mission impossible. I was going to glare my way out of hiking the cold, dreary Rocky Mountain side with my father.
I cursed under my breath as I tripped over another freaking tree root. Why was my father forcing me out there into the wild? At the time, I had no idea. I thought he was torchering me when I first moved in with him. I still can't beat the man in a staring contest.
My mom lost custody of me when I was seventeen. She had gotton three speeding tickets in two years. See, my mom's a lawyer. But she's not good and being..."punctual." Hence, the tickets. My dad went to court and two months later...I was packing my bags and heading for Utah. And, here we are!
"Dad!" I called, yanking my foot out from under a log. My dad grunted from up ahead and started walking back towards me. I flipped my long wavy blonde hair over my shoulder and blew my purple bangs out of my face, leaning against a tree.
"Yeah Sweetie?" George asked when he came into view. I looked at him like Are you crazy? And he just shrugged. I groaned and ran my fingers through my hair. George sighed and looked out over the side of hill, probably thinking about whether he should just leave me there and come back when he was done hiking.
"Remember, Dad: Black hole." I piped up, standing up straight. He laughed slightly and walked a few steps toward me, putting his hand awkwardly around my shoulders.
"Okay, Jade. Let's go home."
***
Jade Night had never felt such pain in all her life.
She screamed in pain, slapping her hands to the back of her head to prevent it from exploding. She curled up in a feetle position, tangling her legs in her sheets. Tears stained the white fabric as she cried, her chocolate brown eyes oozing with salty moisture.
Rolling over, Jade hit the carpeted floor with a thud. She clamped her eyes shut and when she opened them again they were sharp and cat like. Golden tufts of fur sprouted from her back and legs, claws painfully replaced her fingernails. Bones clicked together as her human structure was slowly rearanged...
***
I jolted awake at two AM, my face hot and moist.
The pain in my head was gone, and there was no fur anywhere that I could feel. My hair was plastered to my head and face, and everything seemed to spin. I fell back onto my pillow, breathing heavily. It was a little chilly in my room, but oddly, I liked it.
I couldn't go back to sleep. Who knew what horrible dreams it would bring? I reached for the night table and picked up the remote, clicking the TV on.
And so, for four and a half hours, I watched House repeats, fearing only what sleep would bring.
So it's not the best thing ever, but it's the first chapter and I promise they will get better!
Click the lonely green button! He won't bite!
