Another day at hogwarts castle but probably a bad one for Harry Potter with a double potions class after a long night of detention with umbridge and occulemency today or so he thinks it is as snape starts his lesson harry can only breath a sigh of resignation before snape has memories of umbridge's detention last night flash before they're eyes but this time snape had a different reaction
Snape: (makes a face of shock and horror) is that what you've been doing in her detention
harry: well …. ya
snape: (tries to inconspicuously look at his Harry's hand) Harry …..(shakes head) i mean well Potter profferer umbridge is free to choose her punishments for her students i just remembered i had a meeting with dumbledore in a few minutes so why don't we conclude our lesson here
harry: um alright … professor (leaves room)
another night at hogwarts castle another night of clawing words into harry and other students hands or perhaps not as snape stands suspiciously in the halls
snape: alright peeves the stink bomb our in the astronomy tower but i need her out of the room for at least 20 minutes
peeves: you got it ol sev isn't that what your red head friend used to call you
snape: don't speak of her now go (begins to walk forward as peeves flies above and through the ceiling and is soon in Umbridge's class room)
peeves: hey love the pink and these (grabs every cat clock off her walls flies out of the room cackling and knocking things over as he goes)
umbridge: come back here you fiend (chases after peeves brandishing her wand)
snape: (enters room as soon as both the toad and poltergeist are out of sight and approaches her desk with his wand outstretched immediately he sees a quill on the desk side facing the students clearly not meant for her use) aha (points wand directly at it and mutters a few incantations and laughs quietly to himself as he leaves)
As Harry enters umbridge's room for another detention that night he notices that all of her cat clocks that were on the wall weren't in there usual place the ones that were still there anyway Harry proceeded to pickup that reechoed quill he loathed and sit on a desk with a piece of parchment already on it
Umbridge: please begin mr potter
Harry: (wrote the words that were as etched into his mind as they were in his hand "I must not tell lies")
This was the moment Harry was dreading when the pain came in but strangely it didn't but the words did appear on his hand but it felt like it was written in with a marker rather than with a knife but harry sure wasn't going to complain about it and instead elected to continue to write and make the face he usually made during the detention
the following day at potions instead of having the students brew potions snape would be demonstrating the effect different potions on a toad after the lesson harry almost felt bad for the creature as snape had given it potions that would leave a wizard bedridden for a week but it didn't last long as before harry was allowed to leave the room with his other classmates snape called him back to take the usual points from gryffindor for answering one question wrong despite hermione answering every question right but as harry was leaving he could have sworn he heard snape cast oblivate on the toad
after lunch harry and friends prepared themselves for another awful lesson with umbrage but were surprised when snape turned out to be there apparently umbridge was in the hospital wing with a case of spattergroit so he would be filling in for her
Harry thought snape would give a lesson that was only slightly better than umbridge but he surprised them all with lesson filled with new spells and curses that we actually allowed to try
