Author's Note: Well, what is there to say? I don't like the writers of GH. I think they all suck, and I'm tired of not having my favorite characters together, tired of getting yanked around by the emotions. So here's a short story for all you jilted Liason fans. Hope you like it. Happy reading.

"I told myself I wouldn't miss you," she whispered staring into his eyes. "But I can't stop myself. I miss you, all the time. And I don't see why I should have to."
"We agreed Elizabeth. You know this isn't safe," he said, trying in vain to walk away from her.
"Life isn't safe Jason," Elizabeth told him, grabbing his arm and holding on to him tightly.
"I want you in my life, in the boys' lives," she whispered, staring into his eyes.
"You deserve so much better than me," he said achingly, surrendering to his heart, his hand moving of its own accord, stroking her cheek tenderly.
He was tired of fighting what he wanted, tired of living his life feeling stone cold inside.
Elizabeth's arms tightened around him and he felt a familiar flicker of warmth kindle inside him.
She raised her hands to frame his face, pulling his lips down to meet hers.
"I need you Jason," Elizabeth said softly, her lips brushing gently against his.
"I can't pretend anymore," she whispered.
