Annabeth's Point of View
"Annabeth!" I hear a familiar voice call my name.
I turn around and sure enough my eyes land on the familar face connected with the voice I grown to love.
"Percy!" I screamed in delight and jumped into his outstretched arms.
"Where to today?" He asked about our date.
Being cocky, I retorted with, "Anywhere as long as it is not Tartarus."
He smirked and kiss me on my forehead before asking to go to the new art museum opened by a demigod. Okay, now that is a new one. Since when does Seaweed Brain ever want to go to a museum? The only thing he ever does there is whine and occasionally shut up.
"Why do you want to go to a museum suddenly?" I asked because it was quite obvious he lost his marbles.
All he said though was, "Oooh...You'll see..."
I raised an eyebrow at him, and he smirk again. Geez, he is being so big headed about it, I don't dance my eyebrows for nothing you know? But none the less, I link my arm through his, and we went to the museum.
Well, I knew my trip to the museum is going to fail some how, but then again...its pretty sweet of him. This is how it goes. When we are at the museum...
"What are you doing! Hurry up and pee! I don't want to wait here forever!" I am currently screaming and banging my fists on the door of the museum's restroom.
Percy said he needed to use the restroom so we made a pit stop. I had to move away from the awesome painting that Picasso painted! He apologized as he pulled me away to where the restrooms are, and said "just a minute" before racing off. Well, I don't know about you, but I literally waited for 45 minutes out here. What is he DOING in there? Is there a line or something?
"Give me a moment!" Percy yelled back.
Then as I was going to bust down the barrier of a door, a certain idiot came out. He smiled down at me in a silly way then said, "Okay, let's go." And we did. We retreated back to where my awesome Picasso painting stand. There is something a little off though. Okay, maybe it is not such a little difference. The painting canvas next to it was wet. Like DRENCHED. And...*gasp* the blank canvas (I always wonder why that is on display) is not "blank" anymore. The white paint that I thought was part of the blank canvas, washed off, revealing the words "Wise Girl is the Only Girl I Need" in a red heart! In surprise, I screeched and attacked Percy with a hug. He smiled down at me, his sea-green eyes, twinkling like the ocean does when the sunlight reflects of the water.
Then proudly, in a kid like way, he said, "Don't worry, I got permission to do so. I might have busted a pipe or two...It is hard to know which pipes lead where from the men's room..."
No later had he said that, the wall behind us exploded due to a leaking water pipe, which had created a flood of pressure that had knocked down the wall, soaking everything and everyone in the museum.
"Oops. I don't think the owner would let me do THAT again." Percy said laughing and scratching the back of his head sheepishly.
I roll my eyes. Anyone who knows Percy well enough (or even just KNOW him), would know that he can be...uh..destructive. But still. He makes me feel protective. He makes me feel safe. And he gives me that feeling that no one can replace. Yea. He is My destructive Seaweed Brain.
