-Reason Why Kaji Stopped Plays the Violin-

"Hey, Kaji-kun, I heard that you've played the violin before you play the viola, is that right?" asked Amou curious.

"Yeah, how did you know?" asked Kaji.

"Of course I had that information from some reliable source," answered Amou.

"Alright then, why did you stop playing the violin? It's not because you feel that you didn't have any talent in music, right?" asked Amou again.

"Yeah, maybe that was the second reason why I stopped playing the violin. To be honest, now I don't feel that I'm untalented in music again because, everyone rely on me to play the viola in the ensemble,"

"Also, they said that I've played the viola splendidly. So, I thought that's not my real reason to stopped playing the violin," Kaji continued.

"Then, what's the real reason?" asked Amou impatiently.

"Hmm… maybe it's because Tsukimori-kun," answered Kaji honest.

"Tsukimori-kun?" asked Amou again.

"Yeah, I've met him when we still young, I mean… we've attend the same violin class before,"

"You've attend the same violin class with him? So, you felt inferior to his skill on violin?" asked Amou curiously.

Kaji paused and didn't answer anything for some time.

"Yeah, maybe that's what the reason," finally Kaji answered.

"… What's the meaning of that pause?" asked Amou suspicious.

"It's mean nothing," answered Kaji dishonest.

In his head, Kaji remembered about his tragic past with Tsukimori Len and his violin…

"Erm, Tsukimori Len-kun!" young Kaji called young Tsukimori after he performed on the stage.

"What?" asked young Tsukimori nonchalantly.

"P-p-please go out with me!!!!" shouted young Kaji nervously to young Tsukimori, his first love.

"…………………." young Tsukimori silenced and stared at young Kaji with a cold gaze.

"… If I'm not mistaken, you're Kaji Aoi, right?" finally, young Tsukimori opened his mouth.

"Y-yes," answered young Kaji happy because, young Tsukimori knew him.

"I won't go out with someone who can't play the violin better than me. So, please excuse me," young Tsukimori rejected young Kaji flatly and went away, left Kaji who still standing in his place like an idiot.

After that, young Kaji went home and decided to stop playing the violin which makes him remember about the flat rejection from young Tsukimori.

Kaji cried, cried, and cried for days. After that, he forgot about his violin and young Tsukimori.

For awhile, Kaji drown into his own thought.

'How can I tell Amou-san that I stopped playing the violin because Tsukimori rejected my confession before?' he thought.

Successfully, he convinced Amou that he stopped playing the violin because he didn't have self-confident that time, and what about his secret (tragic) past with Tsukimori?

Well, no one knows about it, neither Amou, nor Tsukimori himself (it seems Tsukimori has forgotten about it, poor Kaji).

Maybe, that tragic past will be Kaji's secret until the death reaps it apart.
