Just a little oneshot I couldn't resist doing. Duo and Heero are doing a simple trust exercise. This is a 2x1 fic, but even those who can't stand it should be able to read.
Disclaimer:I don't own Gundam Wing. Anyone who thinks I do must have had Duo around too long.
Duo: Hey, it was one time. Maybe two or three. Ok a little more.
Me: My point exactly.

"Come on Heero! Catch me." Heero Yuy sighed. Duo Maxwell was standing on top of their house where he had been fixing the roof. He was preparing to jump off backwards.

"No." Came Heero's answer. "Why not?" Duo whined. "I know that you will catch me, I trust you." "No." "Pweeeeeese?" "No." Heero said turning his attention to the floor.

"Ok, ready, set, Go!" Duo said leaning back. Heero looked up to see him falling. For a split second he considered letting Duo hit the ground, but he didn't want him to mope around and cry about broken bones. Heero stepped forward and caught the braided boy easily and set him down.

"I knew you could do it buddy!" Duo said with a big smile on his face. "Oh wait… You know what; I forgot my hammer up there. Would you be a good friend and get it for me? I'll give you a surprise." He said slyly. Heero looked at him and sighed. It was really getting hard to say no to him. He turned and climbed the ladder.

After looking around for a while he looked over the side. "I can't find it anywhere."

"Um, hm. You know what, check by the air conditioner." Duo told him, trying, it seemed, to be helpful.

Heero looked up. The air conditioner was on the other side of the roof; no where near where Duo had been working. But you couldn't doubt what was possible with that baka. He was a menace to everyone including himself.

"Duo I can't find it." He said walking back to where the ladder was, but it wasn't there and neither was "Duo…" The menace came out of the garage with the most innocent face he could put on. "Yes?" He asked. "Where is the ladder?" "What ladder?" He asked, a smile breaking on his face. "Duo." He said giving him a death glare.

"Well I figured that since you caught me, I had to return the favor."

"I don't think so."

"But why not?"

Heero was beginning to wish that he hadn't caught him; they definitely wouldn't be in this situation. "You know that I can just jump down." Heero told him. "I know, but I figured that you would trust me." Duo said looking at the floor.

Heero sighed again. "You swear that you will catch me?" "Yeah no sweat." Duo reassured him. "Hn. Well I'm not going backwards like an idiot."

He leaned forward with his eyes open but looking at Duo's face and outstretched hands made closing them seem like a better idea.

"Ready Heero?" "Hn." Duo watched happily as Heero set off for the ground.

At that moment, something from the corner of his eye caught his attention. "Hey I guess I dropped my hammer down here." He walked over and picked up the hammer as a loud thud sounded behind him.

"Oops…"

I'll let you guys figure out what happens next. This idea hit me the other day because I was with my dad (He builds houses) and I wondered about Heero and Duo. Sorry it's so short but like I said, I couldn't resist and plus I was bored. Tell me what you think. Needs some proofreading? Hit that review button.
