The Easy Answer By Deceitful Wood Elf Disclaimer: I don't own it, but the chances are that you don't either (but if you do, then did you know that I love you?)
This just came to me. It might sound really stupid, but don't flame.
The red head walked down the halls of Sunnydale high. It was nearing lunch and she knew where everyone should be, and probably were. Buffy would be training with Giles. Xander would be trying to convince Cordelia to take him back. Cordelia would be with her 'friends' on the lawn trying to avoid Xander. Oz would be at his locker, dumping the books of the classes he may, or may not, have attended. That is where she was going, not to the library, or the lawn, or the cafeteria, but to his locker.
Willow fingered a stone in her hand. It was meant to bring luck, and she'd need it. She had been trying the hard way to get Oz to talk to her again, trying to get him to talk or at least look at her. Now that all the hard paths had been walked she was going to try the easy answer.
The wicca put the stone in her pocket, more for comfort than magic. She looked around, Oz wasn't there yet. Willow pouted a bit, she wanted to get this over with.
"Hey Will, how's my best buddy?" A familiar hand landed on her shoulder. She turned and couldn't help but smile up at her friend.
"Hey Xander. I'm okay, I guess. Hey, why don't you save us a table in the cafeteria? I'm just gonna get a drink of water, okay?" Xander nodded, gave her a goofy smile, and went off in the direction of lunch.
Willow smiled and walked over to the water fountain. She quickly brought her hand back up from the knob to look at her it. Someone had put gum on the handle. Willow got the gum off and lent down to get the drink.
She saw him come out of the corner of her eye, backpack slung behind him. 'Okay Will, moment of truth,' the witch tried to calm herself 'you can do this. Pretend you're a vampire, only less evil and hell bent. You take what you want, and that's that. Maybe I should just go see Xander. NO! Willow, you are going to do this.' She walked over to where Oz was, he hadn't gotten to his locker yet, he'd been talking to one of his non-scooby friends. His back was facing Willow. She wiped her hands on her jeans then tapped him on the shoulder. He turned and didn't have time to be react before Willow attached her lips to his. She invaded his mouth, not letting him react to the sudden onslaught. 'Vampire, Willow, you take what's yours. Oh God, oh God, oh God.' Willow broke the kiss and kept her eyes closed.
"Just to let you know" It seamed like the right thing to say. She turned and walked down the hall, not looking left or right, just forward. She felt everyone's eyes on her. She heard foot steps behind her but she never stopped walking. A hand on her shoulder spun her around and looked into Oz's bright eyes.
"I know" He said simply and kissed her. Willow barely noticed the various people clapping around her, hooting and hollering. She didn't notice when someone yelled out 'Snyder!' either . . .
