This story takes about six years after the last battle with Master Org. Merrick and Zen-Aku traveled around the world for a while. Zen-Aku decided he wanted to stay in Egypt, while Merrick settled in Louisiana. Merrick heard that Shayla was back in Turtlecove, so he went to find her. He found her and they were reunited. They moved into an apartment, then one day Shayla just left. This story takes place five months later.
