should I do more or leave it here?
revieeew xo
Oh hell no, Lauren thought as Joey walked into the Caff. She knew she hated Lucy for sure now. Tears were welling up in Laurens eyes as she looked down trying not to look in Joeys eyes because if she did, she would break into tiny little pieces. "Lucy, what do you want me for?" Joey asked, staring at me with a pinch of love mixed with hatred and anger. "Well, Joey…as Lauren here finally decided to get off her ass and work. She doesn't have anyone to serve; you were the first one to pop up in my mind." Lucy said smirking at me. "Alright Lucy, I know you don't want me to get this job, but seriously…I thought we were mates?" Lauren said her eyes welling up once again. Lauren rubbed her hands over her face and sighed. "Yeah, so did i…until you left us for him Lauren. How does it feel eh? To be played at your own game?" Lucy said, she was smirking so much, the Grinch and her would look alike. (AN. Dunno how that made sense but, AOLO) Joey shook his head and moved to the seat which Lauren had pulled out for him. Both his ex's in the same room, both completely in love with him even though he loved the one behind him. This was going to be a very long day.
"Pepper, sir?" Lauren asked trying to muster up the courage to ask Joey for her role as a waitress. "I still don't think she means it?" Lucy's snobby voice rung at the back of Laurens head, annoying the hell out of her. "Pepper, sir?" Lauren asked a bit louder trying her best not to break down in tears in front of Joey. "Still not meaning it" Lucy said, obviously winding Lauren up. Seriously, didn't she have anything better to do in her life? "Actually I don't quite like pepper." Joey interrupted, staring up at Lauren before flinching when he heard Lauren slam the pepper shaker thingy down. Lauren took a step back and took a deep breath. She couldn't do this, Lucy knew Joey was her only weakness. There was only one spot remaining and it was either Lauren or Whitney. Whitney looked over at her best friend and saw her soft spot. Lauren was less likely to get the job and she needed the money as Whitney already had a job. She looked down at Tyler and back at Lauren. "Ian" Lauren said, no one knowing what was going to come yet. "Yeah Lauren" Ian nodded, encouraging her to carry on talking. "Thank you for having me here, but I don't think I'm right for the job. Sorry" She said. No one had spoken a word. But you could see the shock on all their faces, except for Lucy's. she knew Lauren was crumbling and would break any second. Taking a step back, removing her apron and walking out of the caff with tears flowing down her cheeks. Walking to the Vic, obviously not the best choice, she sat down and sighed. She put her head in her hands and sighed.
