A Christmas daughter
A/N NBC owns all the people in this story expect Amy Roséin who is my original character and I wrote the song Now and Forever you will be my Christmas Daughter specially for this story.
It a frosty and stormy night Amy a poor Croatian orphan girl walked lonely around the empty streets of Chicago and stopped outside of Country General and listen to the Christmas melody and sat down on the frozen concrete. Luka Kovac, a medical surgeon at the hospital was walking down the stairs when he stopped and looked at the girl,
"Hello" He said walking leisurely as to not scare Amy. "My name's Luka, whats yours?"
"Amy…Amy Roséin" She replied in her Croatian accent and Luka kneeled down.
"Amy why are you in the cold winter night? Where's your family" He asked gently,
"In Croatia" She replied, "They abandoned me here. They said it was the safest thing to do"
Luka nodded and picked her up and took her inside of Country so she could warm up.
He sat her down on a examining table and noticed she haven't eaten in least a year and decided to do a IV,
"Hey honey, I'm gonna have to put a needle in your arm so you can eat more" He said and Amy shook her head and burst into tears and did something that took Luka by surprise, she launched herself at him wrapping her arms around him.
"Don't cry my precious because you are safe in my arms from this moment on, no-one will take you away from me. You're my Christmas Daughter now and forever. You will be in arms now and forever. Now, forever We will never be apart because I love you.
You are my Christmas daughter and always will be. We will always be together, Now and forever. Now and forever"
Luka finished off his song and Amy was asleep in his arms and he just smiled when Lucy came in,
"Luka, whose this" She asked and Luka looked up from the little girl in his arms,
"She's a orphan called Amy Roséin and I'm gonna take her in no matter what, without or with consent she's gonna be my Christmas daughter" Luka replied as he rocked Amy back and forth
