Author's note: OK, first of all, I've made this fan-fic to introduce an infected OC for Left 4 Dead. Valve owns the Left 4 Dead series, but I own the character portrayed in his fan-fic. I have 3 ideas for infected & this is one of them. Enjoy!

Infected Name: The Siren aka. Choker, Ugly Man, Screamer Boy, Medusa, Ghost, Emo, Circus Freak, Blind Guy and Ruined Dude.
Remember the old saying "If looks can kill"? Well, the infected, known as The Siren, gives this phrase a new meaning. Who is The Siren? Nobody knows.
Not much is known about The Siren for now, but as far as our research goes, The Siren is just as deadly as The Witch.
Description:
People claim to have seen the Siren as a man aged 15-20 years of age with a gray face along with black around his eyes. His right eye has a blood red colour and his right side of his face is covered in blood. He often wears a large black jacket with dark, blood tattered navy jeans & black boots. Others claim they saw stitching at their wrists or rope strain around their necks.
Extent of mutation:
From our research, the victims that have mental disorders or any form of depression seem to mutate into the Siren.
Method of Attack:
From eyewitness accounts, The Siren seems to wander around a zone aimlessly with its head facing the ground & its arms held out in front of it.
If it sees a survivor or a group of survivors, it'll slowly walk towards them. But that's not the part that makes it deadly.
What makes it deadly is that when it comes into close range with a survivor, it'll lift its head to reveal his disfigured face and emit a loud howling scream at the survivor.
Effect on Humans:
People claimed to have been seen others being screamed at by a Siren and dropping dead on the spot. Others however reported people who have been screamed at by one of these things had been incapacitated whilst the Siren sits on top of its pinned victim and chokes them to death.
Behaviour around other infected:
It seems all infected are frightened of this type. Because no other infected are around when the Siren is spotted. One eyewitness reported the Siren disturbing a Witch, then startling it by screaming. Others said it broke up fights amongst infected just by walking towards them.
Survival Tips:
1. Listen out for the Siren's distinctive wails & groaning.
2. Upon locating the Siren, try as much as possible to avoid any contact with the Siren.
3. If your friend has been screamed at by the Siren & is killed, run away before the Siren goes after you.
4. If your friend has been screamed at & is still alive, try to fight off the Siren until either help arrives or the Siren is dead.
5. If the Siren is still alive & your friend has been saved, run away. The Siren is known to be aggressive towards survivors.
