Kurt groaned in frustration, they were going to be late again, and leaving Finn in the busy airport is never a good idea. Seven years earlier, when Finn was visiting the Hummel-Andersons' for Thanksgiving, he got lost in the crowded airport. Kurt and Blaine, carrying a whimpering 5 month old Elizabeth, found Finn in the baggage claim center. Finn was hitting on a petite Filipino woman that is clearly distressed and didn't understand a word from the oblivious man. Kurt had to dragged –literary- his step-brother away, leaving Blaine to apologise to the woman in Pinoy. He shoved the snacks for the drive into the toddler's pink bedazzled bag and mentally checked for anything that was left behind.

"Blaine, we have only 20 minutes to get to the airport on time, unless you want a repeat of the previous incident. " Kurt said, walking away from the kitchen and towards the living room, where Blaine is searching behind curtains.

"Ellie and I are playing hide and seek now,"Blaine offered Kurt a sheepish grin, Kurt responded by rolling his eyes.

A giggle was heard beneath the sofa and Blaine's grin grew wider as he approached the sofa in the middle of the room.

"My, my how can I ever find Elizabeth on time," Blaine sighed dramatically "Oh well, guess we have to leave Ellie in the house and fetch Uncle Finn without her."

Kurt smiled at his husband's gimmick, as the said husband walked around the sofa, flipping over cushions and pretending to look for their daughter. Blaine caught Kurt staring at the scene in the living room and winked, to which Kurt responded by shaking his head, refusing to be sucked in by his partner's antics. Kurt noticed as Blaine's back was turned from the sofa and unbeknownst to Blaine, a small figure crawled out from her spot under the sofa. Placing a finger at her lips, she instructed Kurt to be quiet. Ellie crept behind her Papa and screeched "Boo!" leaving the shorter man to jump in surprise. Ellie covered her mouth and laughed.

"Ellie, you scared Papa!" remarked Blaine, placing a hand on his chest.

"Papa's too easy to scare," An impish grin appeared on the girl's features.

"Kurt, Ellie scared me!" Blaine turned to Kurt and pouted, expecting a little sympathy from his spouse.

"Did little Ellie hurt you, sweetheart?" Kurt played along, Blaine responded with a much too enthusiastic nod.

"Right here," Blaine pointed at his heart with his hand he used to hold it before.

"I can't kiss it to make it all better but," Kurt walked to Blaine and kissed him on the lips.

"Isn't better now?"

"I think it's hammering way too fast for it's own good." Blaine said breathlessly, hazel eyes locking on to blue-green ones.

"Daddy I want one too!" Ellie tackled Kurt's knee and raised her arms, demanding to be picked up.

Kurt picked up his daughter and together with Blaine, kissed each side of her cheek, eliciting a howl of laughter from the 7 year old.

A/N: I hope this drabble made your day brighter! I don't think there will be a sequel, but when there is, I will publish it:)
