Chapter 1: Another Boring Morning

I laid on my bed wide awake, thinking of school... when my alarm clock goes off. "Huh?" I said, looking at the clock. It reads 7:00 am. "Oh... school!"

I jumped out of bed, ripping my PJ's off. I slipped on a skimpy shirt, booty shorts, and my boots. I then grabbed my phone. "I'm hungry."

I walked out of my room, making a pit stop at Vinnie's room, opening the door just a crack. I poked my head inside. "Vinnie? Are you awake?"

I heard him groan inside his coffin, but otherwise there was no response. I shut the door, went downstairs and sat at the breakfast table. Tifa was making breakfast.

"What are we having?" Cloud asked, placing his hands in his lap. I heard something grumble. I realized it was my stomach.

"Pancakes!" I heard Tifa cheer from the kitchen. She came in, holding multiple plates of pancakes stacked on each other. "Vince! Breakfast!"

I sighed. "I want breakfast, too!"

"You're getting some," Tifa said. "With extra blueberries, just the way you like them." I glanced at the clock on my phone. 7:04 am.

"Hurry up, then. I'll be late for school!" I mumbled, just loud enough for Tiffs to hear.

"Don't be so negative. Now, eat up!"

I reluctantly took my plate of pancakes, stuffing them in my mouth. "Thffeshe arhe goodff," I said through my mouthful of food.

"Ew!" Barret exclaimed. "Learn yo' manners, lady!"

I finished my food, placing my napkin on the table. "I'm headin' off to school. Bye!"

"Bye!" Everyone else waved. I slung my backpack over my shoulder, and headed out to the bus stop. When I arrived, I saw Kairi was waiting there, too.

"Hey Kairi!" I said, waving at her.

"Oh... Yuffs! Hi! Didn't see you there," Kairi said.

"Well now you did," I teased.

"Your so cheesy," she said, rolling her eyes, but I spotted a slight smile. The bus arrived before we knew it. Apparently we were the last ones, though, because almost all the seats were full. I had to sit next to Tidus.

"Hey," he said as I sat down. "Found any Materia recently?"

"Nope." I slumped back in the seat. "Did you find any dignity recently?"

"No. Wait—WHAT?" He banged his head against the seat. "I... I meant I already have dignity."

"Yeah, right." I rolled my eyes, a small smirk appearing on my lips.

"Hey!" He pouted. "And I thought you were my friend."

"Hey!" This time I banged my head against the seat. The girls in front of us turned around, a look of disgust on their faces.

"Stop banging your heads on our seat!" Rikku whined.

"Yeah!" Selphie agreed.

Tidus looked at them, whispering, "Sorry..."

I sighed. The bus arrived at our school. I hopped out of my seat, heading out of the bus. I turned around. "Thanks for driving us, Freya."

"No problem," she said, shutting the doors and driving off. I walked up to the front wall of the school, leaning against it and sighing, "Just another day of complete boredom."

Snow came over to me, slicking his hair back flirtatiously and started 'checking me out.' "Nice outfit, Yuf."

"Keep your hands and eyes to yourself," I said, slapping him. "Don't you have a fiancé?"

"Yes, well, there is that," he said, as if just realizing he loved Serah. He walked away from me, saying to Serah, "Hey, did you know I love you? I can prove it..." He began shoving his hands down her shirt.

My eyes widened. "That just happened."

Across the football field, I saw Tidus approaching Wakka and Irvine, holding a Blitzball. I laughed. "Irvine doesn't play Blitzball," I said. "He plays Girlball."
