Lania's eyes stung as the fire blazed and crackled around her. "Papa Lumi?" she asked, her voice hoarse. She looked around with tear-filled cyan eyes, trying to find the man she had trusted and lived with. She stepped forward, before yelping and jumping backwards as a blazing wood plank fell down in front of her, blocking her only entrance. She could hear a low chuckle, and she instinctively turned to face it.
A dark male with black hair and clothes turned to her, red eye blazing with contempt as he looked around. She could see his blue eye, and she just knew it was Luminous. She stumbled towards him. "Papa Lumi?" she asked again.
He turned to her, and immediately shoved her to the side, causing her to gather a huge gash on her arm. She bit her lip as Luminous vanished.
Everything began to become clear to her. Firstly, there was dark magic gathering like electricity all around her.
Secondly, this was all Luminous's fault.
The dark magic calmed her and her hair wove into moonlight silver. Her gaze hardened as she stared at the area where Luminous had disappeared. "I'll get you back, Papa Lumi. I'll get you back if it's the last thing I do.
"And when I do, you will always bear the scars I bear today."
