Tiffany is a new character not introduced into the book. For English my friends and I had to write a Reader's Theater based of the Outsiders so this is what we came up with.

Death Do Us Part

Tiffany, Cherry, and Marcia are at Cherry's house after Bob's death.

Tiffany is weeping in a corner.

Cherry asks, "What's wrong Tiff?"

Tiffany replies, "My favorite T.V. show Leave it to Beaver has been cancelled!"

Marcia says, "Oh, I thought you were mourning Bob's death."

Tiffany asks, "Who's Bob?"

Cherry responds, "My boyfriend,"

Marcia corrects, "Ex-boyfriend."

"You know how I feel about the e-word Marcia. Besides Bob was more than that, he was smart, caring and sure he got drunk and fought poor innocent greasers. But afterword he would regret it. He…"

Tiffany interrupts, "Wait. You had a boyfriend! That is shocking!"

Marcia responds, "Personally I thought he was a jerk. The way he got drunk and rumbled with other people. He never really listened. Did he? He always got what he wanted. Even in death. Ew, and the way he flirted with us at the movie theater. EW!"

Cherry said, "Umm, Marci? Bob never did those things."

"Oh, really?"

"Ok. Most of those things."

Tiffany interrupts, "Wait Marci, aren't you talking about Dallas Winston? He's the one that digs switchblades and grease right? He's so tough and handsome!"

Marcia responds, "I know!"

"Did you guys know that death is a part of the circle of life?"

Cherry says shocked, "What have you done with the real Tiffany?"

"She's dumber than usual and guys back to the story, weren't we talking about Bob's death?" said Marcia.

Tiffany says confused, "Who's Bob again?"

Cherry looks like she's about to cry, "See this is why no-one know about you. You're so stupid!"

"Shh. That's the grief talking."

Marcia and Cherry start crying while Tiffany starts laughing at them. "What is wrong with you Tiff? Are you heartless?" says Maria

"What does heartless mean? And I'm hungry!"

"We are leaving now. Let's go get some DQ. We can mourn there in peace."

"I wonder what would happen if our life was a movie?"

"That would never happen."

"That's what you think."

"Let's leave Cherry."

"Don't leave me. How do you expect me to get home? Where do I even live?"
