The three of them apparated to the Manor gates, walked quickly inside, and sat down in the drawing room. Narcissa sat beside Lucius and Draco across from them. Lucius sighed tiredly and put his face in his hands. Narcissa rubbed his back with one hand, the other resting on his knee.

"I'm going to my room," Draco announced as he got up off the couch. Narcissa nodded and gave him a small smile. It was a few minutes before the couple went to their room. Narcissa and Lucius fell asleep very quickly….

Lucius woke up. It was still dark and Narcissa was rolling over and over, crying out.

"Cissa? Cissa, wake up, love. It's just a dream," Lucius said. Narcissa woke with a start. She was breathing fast and heavily. Lucius scooted up next to her and wrapped his strong arms protectively around her. "It was just a dream…just a dream…." Narcissa looked into his eyes. She knew what he was going to ask.

"I was thinking of the battle. All those killing curses flying—"

"Shh…. We're back home." Narcissa nuzzled herself into her husband's chest. He held her close against himself. "I love you, my Cissa."

"I love you too, my Lucius."

"I remember tears streaming down your face,

when I said, 'I'll never let you go,'

when all those shadows almost killed your light,

I remember you said, 'don't leave me here alone,'

But all that's dead and gone and passed tonight.

Just close your eyes,

The sun is going down,

You'll be alright,

No one can hurt you now,

Come morning light,

You and I'll be safe and sound." Lucius sang the song softly into her ear. His beautiful angel had fallen asleep. Lucius looked at her beautiful, peaceful face. She was really asleep. "I love you, Narcissa Malfoy." Lucius buried his face in her light blonde, silky hair and was soon fast asleep as well.
