DISCLAIMER: I OWN NOTHING!

Upside-down, swinging back and forth, disarmed, and shackled. Oh, how my prideful image is ruined.

There was a pit beneath me, but the fall would hardly kill me, only make me even more insulted than I already am. For a race that's never met demons, humans really do take after their cunning.

"I gotta say, you've got some pretty cool peace-keepers."

Landing right in front of me was my ever graceful captor. A female human, dressed in all sorts of apparel and darkened skin. She reeked of overconfidence, reminds me of War.

But that's not the worst part. She's got my guns, and those can do a bit more damage to me than the pit.

She hefted Mercy and Redemption. "They're freakishly huge, but I guess the suit your size fine. Most bang for your buck."

"If you value your limbs, you will return them to me and release me from this ridiculous snare!" I demanded. Like War, patience is not really my strong suit.

She lugged the guns at my direction. "You don't get caught much, do you?" She teased. "I'm the jailer, you're the prisoner, and prisoners keep their mouths shut or the jailer gives them a whoopin' they won't be able to walk off."

I chuckled, "Do you really think that my own firearms would harm me? Humans, their ignorance truly knows no bounds."

"Yeah, and what would that make you?" She questioned. "You're one of those demons, you don't look ugly enough, and you're not one of them angels, you're not pretty enough."

Astounding, the humans possess common logic. Perhaps they are not as unevolved as I had thought, but she is showing her stupidity by persisting to point my guns at-

The hammer was pulled back. So much for logic.

"I am Strife," I answered boldly. "One of the Four Horsemen, and a servant to the Balance of the Charred Council. That same Council recognized humanity's….weakness. You are not ready for the End War, so I am here to make your kind ready."

With that, I chuckled darkly. I am more in touch with my demon half than my brothers and sister. "And if I must say so myself, you humans are not leaving a very good first impression..."

So tell me, is your body ready for this kind of madness?

With the End War inevitable, the Charred Council must recognize the prophecy that humanity will be ready to face the guardians of Heaven and the scourge of Hell. For this, they send someone who is just as familiar with conflict as War himself who is…..busy with other things.

To prepare humanity for the End, they send Strife. And he is not amused.

TELL ME IF YOU WANT IT!
