Okay, here's a little one-off short story mourning the death of Brian Griffin (R.I.P Brian). I realise I'm a little late but we've not even got the episode over here in Britain. Anyway, here we go...
Everyday for the next few months, the Griffins cried over Brian, especially Stewie. The two had went through so much, like when they went to Vegas together and when they went to go find Stewie's dad and when they flicked through universes and...well...you get the picture. But now Brian was dead, and he was never going back.
"Thanks for giving me such a great life!" these last words stuck with the Griffins and probably always would. Everybody had just completely broke down and took a turn for the worse. Peter had started chasing cats and chewing newspapers, probably to fill the hole in his heart and now Lois had started comfort eating, to replace the comfort that Brian gave her and now she was nearly as big as Peter. Meg had resulted to a life of crime, beating up popular girls, mugging grown men and dealing drugs to Quagmire and Tricia Takanawa and Chris had secretly been sneaking out at night to Herbert's house and... well let's not go into that. And Stewie, Stewie locked himself in his cupboard and starved himself, despite the fact Lois would come up regularly and leave some food and milk. He often contemplated hopping in his time machine and saving Brian, but in his heart Brian was gone, forever.
"We need to help them!" said Quagmire
"Yeah," said Joe "it's weird seeing them like this"
"I know a counsellor who deals with stuff like this, we could both get some money together and book a few sessions." suggested Quagmire
"I think that would be best." agreed Joe.
And so the two neighbours gathered some money together and booked four therapy appointments.
At the first couple of appointments, no progress was made, infact they hardly said anything and Stewie didn't even go.
At the third appointment, the councellor got them to write down their favourite things about Brian.
Peter:
Funny
Cool
Exciting
Peanut Butter Jelly Time
Lois:
Comforting
Loving
Surprising
Someone to go to
Meg:
Different
Smart
Gave good advice
Stood up
Chris:
Tolerant
Exciting
Dog
Dog
(a/n yeah I know, he's that stupid)
Stewie:
FRIEND
At the final appointment, the counsellor got them all to read out what they had written last time, which of course resulted in them all crying and she then got them to express how they felt about Brian and how they miss him as if he were there.
"I miss you Brian, we had so many great laughs together and I still remember the day when we took you in like it were yesterday, you truly are man's best friend!" Peter mumbled before he burst out crying.
"Brian, we do miss you so awfully much, and in despite of all the times you ripped up the couch or tried to renounce our religion, you made up for it by being such a great person!" said Lois
"Brian, I miss you so much and I just wish you were here, we all loved you and we still do and we're so happy that we gave you such a great life, even though Stewie crashed your car!" cried Meg
"Brian, we really miss you and how cool you were. Even when I was in serious trouble, you would always help me out and for that, I'll always be in your debt!" sobbed Chris.
And although he didn't want to speak out to everyone else, a teardrop fell down Stewie's face as he muttered under his breath, "Brian, you will be missed"
