Ronald West, Son of Wally West and a mother who left the hospital minutes after the boys birth. Ronald (or Ron if you're a good friend) did the same thing every single day. Walk to school, go through his classes then go home. But this day. The day of his birthday, was gonna be different. He was walking home with his friend Fred Wells until Ron spoke up.

"I dunno, Fred. Dad doesn't know literature let alone math. Do you honestly think he can help us?"

Fred chuckled at Ron.

"Ron...Ronny! Have some faith in your old man. He'll help."

Ron simply rolled his green eyes and ran his hand through his red hair. Both features came from his father.

"Well I guess we co- FRED LOOK OUT!!!"

A red lightning bolt struck down, Ron pushing Fred away only to be struck by it himself and passing out with smoke emitting off of his skin. Fred ran over to him.

"Dear god no! Don't worry Ron...we'll get you all patched up...HELP!!! SOMEBODY GET A GOD DAMN AMBULANCE!!!!"

-6 months later in Central City Hospital-

Ron had finally woken up after the long comatose. His father was there. Along with Fred and a woman he didn't recognize.

"Who are you...?"

She smiled at him.

"My name is Elizabeth Wayne. I work for S.T.A.R Labs in Starling City. Your father has agreed to let me take you back to the lab so I may perform some tests with my friends Liam Pierce and Ian Lane."

Ron merely nodded with a sigh and once he got his clothes and backpack, he got into a van with the woman, to be driven off to the foreign lab where the three scientists checked his vitals. All was normal except for one thing...his heart rate.

"I'm telling you guys I'm fine! Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to head home. I called my dad he'll be here soon."

The boy got up and expected to jog to the front door. Only to bolt out at incredible speed, lightning flowing behind him in a large red streak.

"What the hell...?"

He got a mischievous grin and ran all the way back home.

"I...have super speed? How?!"

He looked over at a red jumpsuit he made for the wrestling team of his high school. He knew what to do. He had to help those in need. He had to be the hero. Soon enough he fashioned a suit with Gold gauntlets, Boots and a mouthpiece that would hide his true voice. He then added a lightning bolt on the front.

"Now I just need a cool superhero name right? Something that's gotta slide off the tongue...something..."

Ron looked back on something his friend said when he would go somewhere. 'Be back in a flash' he snapped his fingers.

"That's it! Flash! The Scarlet Speedster!"

And thus, this worlds Flash was born, ushering in a new era of heroics far more unique than firefighters or policeman.

((So what'd ya think? Good? Bad? Needs work?))
