The woman started out to sea, the waves crashing against the shore. She stared out to sea, a look of resignation on her face. A noise came from behind her and she turned, a man was stumbling down the beach towards her. "You came then, you heard," she said, voice betraying no emotion. "Of course I heard, there's been resounding shock waves throughout the universes,"

"But you didn't hear me, then" she said, a trace of bitterness stirring, "I've been waiting here on this sodding beach, hoping you'd hear me, hoping my words would travel throughout the remains of a ruined universe, and find you, so you could stop him, and it's too late,"

"It's not to late, there's still a chance,"

"What chance, the world's ending, and why, because you're bloody Doctor's lost his mind. It's not just an alien, it's the alien all others fear, and this time, we don't have to help us."

"Gwen, I'm sorry, this isn't my fault,"

"I know it's not your fault, Jack, but you could have tried,"

"What could I have done?"

"I don't know, what the bloody hell do I know about him"

"Jack, Gwen," a woman's voice cut in. Jack Harkness and Gwen Cooper turned to see a young black woman standing behind them. "Martha!" they both said.

"I've been looking for you Jack, I woke up one morning and it was everyone, on my phone, on my laptop, on the TV, this message, telling me to be here on this date at this time,"

Jack turned to look at Gwen, a grin plastered across his face. "What, you daft thing?" she said.

"You said you sent out a message, I got a message telling me to be here to,"

"So, what, I got one too," Gwen replied, giving him an unimpressed look.

"Because I sent out the message, to bring you all here," another voice cut in.

"Oh my God!" Martha said.

"Rose Tyler," Jack said, grinning.

Rose smiled, a smile that was happy and sad at the same time. "Hi, Jack, Martha, Gwen nice to meet you," she said.

"Why are we here" Gwen replied.

"Well, I need your help, or I need Jack and Martha's help, you weren't supposed to be here, you were supposed to be home with your family for this, Gwen."

"Why, what's going on?"

"You said the world's ending and you're right, it is, tonight, right now, if we can't stop this, unless we can stop him. I'm gathering the people that can stop the Doctor, there's me, you Jack and you Martha, and there's someone else…"

"Who's the fourth person?" Martha said, taking a step forward.

"Donna"

"Donna? Are you crazy, we can't remind her of anything or she'll die, Rose, we can't."

"We have to Martha, we're the only people who can stop the Doctor, or else this will be the end of the world, right here right now."

"And what the bloody hell am I supposed to do? Stand here on this bloody beach while what's left of the world goes to hell,"

"Go home?" Jack said.

"I'm not going anywhere, I'll stay right here," Gwen said, "but you better come back, you better find this Donna, and stop the Doctor and come back."

Rose looked at Jack and Martha, offering a hand to them. "Are you going to help me?" she asked.

"Of course" they said in unison. As they said this a flash came from the horizon. A ripple of golden light surged towards them. "Then take my hands, now, we need to catch this reality storm,"

Jack looked at Martha, they took Roses out stretched hands.

"You better come back," Gwen said, as the ripple of golden light washed over them and Rose Tyler, Martha Jones and Jack Harkness faded away. She was left alone on the beach again, staring out to sea,, tears in her eyes.
