Author's Note: o.k this was a spur of the moment thing that I decided to write.
A long time ago in the land of Hyrule
There was a boy whose fate was cruel
The boy had no parents in which to confide
He was brought up among others his past they did hide
For if he should learn of his history to early you see
His mind would be crushed like leaves from a tree.
Ten years past since the fateful night when a young Hylain ran with fright
She was trying to escape to enslavement of a most evil sort
By a man named Ganondorf Dragmire and his cohorts.
She arrived at the forest in a pitiful state
The Kokiri arrived just a little to late
The woman was dead her spirit was free
The Kokiri took her child to the Deku Tree
He took the boy in and gave him a name
He would be dubbed Link for his name would soon ring with fame
On the boy's tenth birthday a fairy did call
Link was brought to the Deku Tree who was awed by all
The Tree did request that Link aide him in his plight
So Link readied his sword and prepared for a fight
He entered the tree and found the source
Of the Deku Tree's discourse
A monstrous spider entitled Queen Gohoma was there
Link started a fight to end the affair
He fought long and hard against the menace in that tree
When the battle was over Link was in victory
He was taken back to the tree to claim his prize
The spiritual stone floated there a feast for his eyes
But alas the Deku Tree did perish for the curse was to strong
Link had tried his best but something had gone wrong
Before the spirit departed this plane
A message from his lips it came
Seek ye out the princess of destiny
For in her the answer lies to destroy the one who bested me
Link traveled far to meet the royal one
She sent him on more quests which he did get done
But when he got back the princess was departed
Link opened the temple in her absence but Ganon arrived and Link was outsmarted
Seven years Link was sealed in the chamber of Time
Seven years he slept while problems did climb
When he awoke he found that he was older
But alas another problem Hyrule it did smolder
Ganon ruled here in this time and place
But now Link was awake and that wasen't the case
He left the temple and went traveling around the land
Many a monster fell to his hand
For he wielded the fabled blade
Twas known as the master sword in stone it was laid
Link tramped through the dungeons to seek the sages
Written about in many a book's pages
He received their power in the form of a medallion
He then caught up with Ganon the rapscallion
A battle ensued which was bloody indeed
When it was over Link had accomplished the deed
Ganondorf Dragmire was no more
But now my hand grows weary from writing this lore
To end it I say
Link had saved the day
There that is all there is no more to tell
Goodbye to you all and I wish thee well
