~When fantasy become reality
how does one know how to respond
or react, when face to face
with whom, that had always been the very thing
that had kept the love alive within
only to realise it was just a dream
a dream that will be kept safe
and cherished forever~ written by tammy ryan

Prologue-Production begins

~New York city, 1991~

Hello TMNT fans. I am Kevin Eastman, the co-creator of TMNT. I do apologise that my co-creator is unable to be with us today but I will give a insight of how the production of TMNT begun. And this is our story. "Kevin wait up!" peter cried. "Oh sorry, peter we were just beginning the biography about how we created the heroes in half shell."

"You were not, not without me I hope as we are co-creators in this story you know." Peter snorted and joked. "I do remember that we are peter, as I wasn't going to begin to play the audio feed until you arrive." Kevin cheekily lied, grinned. "Tell the truth kevin, you were going to start the story without me before handing the story over the next person that lives her dream of meeting the man of her dreams." Peter paused for a moment then resumed as kevin tried to tell him not to spoil the story. Facepalming himself as kevin laughed and patted peters back then said. "Enjoy the story everyone."

~New York city, 1984~

Two comic strip authors needed to create something that will wow the general public audience and readers. Both feeling frustrated as they were up for two nights in a row, surrounded by a pile of thrown away reject paper. Groaning with a frustrated exhaled, tapping the pencil on the table before him while he co-comic strip author partner, sat by at another table and had roughly grabbed handful of his hair through frustration and upcoming migraine.

Pushing out from his chair and stood, throwing another rejected paper to the bin as he walked by and offered a drink to his partner. "Hey, want a soda?" Kevin Eastman asked. "Sure, why not. I aint getting anywhere with these stupid ideas." Peter laird replied, pushing himself out of the chair and followed kevin out the room, closing the door behind them.

Rubbing the back of their necks, groaning slightly and exhaled gruntingly. "Damn, trying to create a decent comic for the company is a bust kill don't you agree?" peter said, looking to kevin tiredly. "Yeah, it sure is. Man, I am starved. Wanna get a pizza?" kevin asked, handing the soda to peter and as peter took the soda, it was that very moment when he had a idea but then thought it may be a flop if tried it so he cleared the air and spoke his idea. "What do you think, we create a comic about turtles?"

Kevin spat some of his soda as he somewhat almost choke on while taking a sip then finally replied. "Turtles? Are you kidding me? What is the story line? What kind of comic strip that we will be writing about turtles?" kevin looked to peter as he smiled, as he held a book on ninjitsu and bushido. Kevin was sceptical about the idea at first then agreed and gave it a go to see where it may lead as both authors studied on the practices of bushido and ninjitsu.

Taking them a entire year to gather enough information about the martial arts, the weapons and chose the colors or initials to go with each character as they finally created the comic that will wow the publishers and the readers.

Both had created the comic and character biographies for each character they have created. And all they needed was a name for the title of the comic. The cover comic picture page is complete, standing over their accomplishment and masterpiece as they figured a title for the piece.

"How about the turtle foursome?" peter wondered, looking to kevin. "Nah, it don't stand out to be. You know like 'wow, gotta buy to read that' if you know what I mean." Kevin responded, believing the public wouldn't find a interest. "Yeah you are right. Hm, well we gotta come up with something kevin." Peter told him. "Yeah, I know." Kevin replied then suddenly he clicked his fingers and said. "I think I know what to title this."

Peter looked to him confused at first but curious then asked. "Ok, I'll bite. Share with the rest of the class, buddy. What is the title?" Kevin searched for a pen and immediately wrote the title on the draft paper then folded his arms, smiling. Peter looked down and read the title before looking up to his partner as kevin nodded, smiling and said. "I have a really good feeling about this one, peter."

"Well, lets see if this sells. If it doesn't then back to the drawing board." Peter replied. "Don't worry, peter. This is going to be the big one, trust me." Kevin assured, smiling.

"Who liked the prologue of this story?" kevin asked. "I know I did but it seems to be abit short compared to what I remembered it though." Peter answered, chuckled alittle. "Anyway on wards to chapter one with the author that begins her story on how she reacted when, oh crap." Placing his head in the palm of his hand and started laughing. "We are spoiling the story here so here is chapter one. And we are kevin Eastman and peter laird. Signing off, hope you enjoyed the beginning of this story and hope you will like and enjoy the continuance of this fiction. Thankyou, good night and how mikey always says. Cowabunga dudes!"
