Me: Hello! Hello! I decided to shake things up this time!
Scout: How so, Miss Lady?
Me: This is an entirely new story! New characters! A grand adventure! Plenty of Ramen!
Scout: What's ramen got to do with anything?
Me: EVERYTHING!
NOTE: I do not own One Piece...The song and Scout are my own...
Also, this is just a brief intro...Don't judge the story based on this! *sweatdrop* heh, heh, maybe..
Scout
Introduction!
"Rolling in the grass,
Playing in the snow,
The adult-children play,
Loving what they don't know,
Please get me out of here,
This never-ending show,
For I cannot be held,
For a debt I do not owe."
The eerie echoing of the revolutionary's ballad unnerved most of her guards. The dark, grim prison room only added to the fright.
"The never-ending cy~cle,
Of power and greed,
You keep me locked up,
For showing what the people need,
Please get me out of here,
To fulfill my solemn deed,
I will keep on fighting,
Until there is nothing left to bleed.
I started as a girl,
I ended as a guide,
For those who will fight back,
Against the ones who always lie,
Please get me out of here,
I can't afford to die,
When there's someone out there,
That you tyrants made cry."
The singing halted and the marines hesitantly peeked inside the world-renowned criminal's cell. The revolutionary was chained to the wall still, her stringy knee-long black hair sticking out at odd angles, but slowly looked up at the marines with a madman's smile.
"I will kill you all someday, you know that, don't you?"
In the middle of the East Blue five years after the death of the Second Pirate King, a small island named Sirex stood. Sirex was a small island, with only one tiny village on it's surface, Sakumotsu Village. Sakumotsu was not critically-acclaimed, far from it. No one from Sakumostsu grew up to be anyone special, and no one special ever came to Sakumostsu, until one day.
It was a miserable, rainy day, quite the gloomy setting for something so wonderful. A young 8 year old girl by the name of Dahl D. Scout was playing by the ocean-side, when a small raft washed on shore.
"Huh?" Scout stopped playing and glanced up at the raft. When no one came out of it she looked around, then walked toward it, her long, black hair getting tangled in the harsh wind. She stopped hesitantly, than slowly peeked inside. A very beat-up and bloody man with a very strange face and a pinkish swan coat laid sprawling on the interior. He looked quite scary and strange to Scout, having never experienced violence in her life...but...the man looked so fascinating. She jumped in. She grasped the man's blood-covered hand and pulled it as hard as she could, with success. Soon he was beached and Scout sat exhausted next to him.
After she caught her breath she stuck her head above him. She slowly poked him than hid behind her sand-castle. When he didn't move, Scout peeked out from the castle.
"What a strange man..." She thought. "He kinda looks like a woman..."
Suddenly the man stirred. Scout eeped and hid behind the castle again, only tripping and destroying it. She looked back and saw the man's eyes open and cough out a strange mixture of sand and blood. Scout inched toward him.
"Um...Hello?"
The man looked at her with a angry look in his eye that made Scout freeze to the spot. Then the anger faded from his eyes and a dark sadness filled his heavily greened eyes. Scout felt sorry for him and inched closer.
"W-who are you, Mr. Sir?" She tried to say with as much respect as she could. The man paused, then rolled himself to his stomach and painfully sat up. He looked down, then whispered something about a man named, Poofy? No...something like that...
"Do you need anything? Food? I can run home real quick...Anything you need..."
The man looked up at Scout once more, and a faint smile appeared.
"Some food would be nice...Thank you..."
Scout sharply nodded and turned around,
"Hold on, what's your name, Miss?"
"Scout..."
The man laid back on his back, his arms behind his head.
"Call me Bon-Chan...I'd like to be called that again..."
Scout nodded and ran toward home...confused and a bit frightened, but most of all, curious...
Me: WHOOP! I have high hopes for this story! But I guess I shouldn't jinx myself...
