Lyra's Lovely Lunacy.
Chapter 1:
Bye, Bye, BonBon.
"Don't worry Bonnie. I CAN cook for myself. I did use to live by myself remember." Lyra reassured her marefriend for the sixth time that hour.
"I now sweetie, but I just want to be sure that while I'm in Canterlot you will be fine" BonBon, for the sixth time, worried about her Lyra.
"I love you, but you don't need to worry about me" Lyra once again reassured BonBon, giving her a kiss on the head, before continuing,
"Now GO! Have fun in the city, say Hi to your family for me."
"Oh, come on Lyra, they're basically your family already."Chided BonBon
"Yeah, Basically." Lyra sighed sadly, earning her, another, worried look from BonBon, so she cheered up and told her,
"I'm fine, Twilight was kind enough to send that letter and partition to Celestia, there are enough of us supporting the idea that ponies can marry there same gender that those who don't can just suck it up. And when she allows it we will be first to the alter!" adding a few gestures for good measure.
"Of course, but what name would we take, mine or yours?" BonBon asked.
"I thought we decided I was the colt of the relationship BonBon? You'd become BonBon Heartstrings!"
"Oh Really? Well I better go, can't catch a train standing here worrying over you. I love you Lyra, be safe while I'm gone" said BonBon as she started walking away.
"I will, love you too, bye" Lyra said as she waved her marefriend off.
BonBon rounds the corner and Lyra closed the door.
Her stomach growls,
"Welp, might as well make myself something to eat" she says walking to the kitchen "Wonder if we have the stuff for pancakes?"
And with a bit of magic to open the cupboard, Lyra's weekend starts its decent.
