'Why did I have to agree to this?' Anko thought. It has been a week since the Kyuubi attack, since the Yondaime sealed the demon into the infant boy Naruto who was curntly sleeping in the crib nearby, since she had been asked by old man Sandaime to watch the boy to protect him from harm.

'Oh yeah,' Anko thought, looking at the baby Naruto, 'So that the squirt doesn't get killed, and so he doesn't grow up with out a family…like I did.'

Suddenly, Naruto woke up, crying. Anko rushed over to him and picked him up out of his crib. He couldn't be hungry; she had fed him before putting him in the crib. 'Musta had a bad dream,' she thought.

An idea came to her head, something that might sooth him. A song that she heard when she was younger. So, cradling Naruto in her arms, Anko began to sing in a soft voice:

Looking down at the boy, Anko saw that Naruto had fallen a asleep again. A small smile crept on to her face. Putting him back in the crib, Anko whispered softly,

"Always, my little Naur-chan."
