Watching You
Even in death I am still here,
Even though I don't appear,
I watch you everyday and night,
Even though I'm out of sight
I still hold you high and steal your pain,
Even though I have been slain,
I still comfort you whe you cry,
Even though I said goodbye
I still hold your hand in mine,
Eventhough I can't tell you everything will be fine,
I still kiss your lips,
Even though the blood still drips
Through acts of fate we are seperated,
The end of my life was fated,
But through bonds we are forever together,
I could never stop loving you because we are forever...
I did this for a school assignment last year for English. I was trying to come up with a poem when all of sudden I came across a video called "Home - Zack and Aerith" on Youtube. Not only did the song become my most favourite of all time, but it made me cry so hard. And so, from that song and the emotional video I came up with this poem.
