Yo People! Guess what?! That is right! I got a special feely Christmas story just for y'all! I really wrote my inner reflection for this one. And as always, Hell nah! I do not own Fairytail, but if I did… I dunno!
"MERRY CHRISTMAS YOU BRATS!" and with that, Christmas began in the Fairytail guild hall. Every year Fairytail threw a huge party on Christmas day for all the members. Spirits were high as presents were handed out, eggnog was chugged in manly challenges, and kisses were stolen from under mistletoe.
Well except for one person. Natsu grinned sharply, hiding the inner pain he felt. Christmas had never been good for him, as it marked the day that Igneel, his father disappeared. He rather liked to spend it alone, as Happy was busy trying to get Carla to accept a Christmas Fishie.
Natsu slipped out of the guildhall, trekking his way home as snow started to fall gently around him. As the cold didn't bother him due to his draconic heritage, he lay on his roof observing the stars. Even they seemed to be in a good mood tonight, shining and twinkling brighter than ever.
Natsu never sought company on Christmas, because he never felt joy on it. His fingers tangled in his scarf as he quietly gazed into the stars. "Dad. Merry Christmas wherever you are. I guess you have a pretty big reason for doing whatever you are." And with that, he fell silent again.
Until the crunching of snow interrupted him. "Hey Natsu! Are you here?" Lucy's voice rang out, making him sit up.
"Lucy..?" he called hesitantly, his voice unsure if she really was there. "Natsu! Are you spending Christmas alone?" She questioned, looking around for the fiery Dragon.
Natsu jumped off the roof, his hands jammed into his pockets. Lucy smiled brightly at him, her hands hidden behind her back. "I…" she began quietly. "I got you a present. But I didn't see you at the guildhall." She bit her lip silently, rocking back and forth on her heels.
Natsu's world seemed to stop, his breath catching in his throat. "A present..? F-for me?" Natsu could hardly believe it. Sure, he got a fish from Happy every year, but no human had ever got him one before.
"Yeah silly!" She smiled gently, her small puffs of breath hanging in the air. "But I didn't get you anything!" He said, panic flashing in his eyes.
Lucy held out his present, snow gently falling on her hair. "That's ok! I just wanted to sure you got this." Lucy bit her lip shyly again, and Natsu's heart skipped a beat.
He had never noticed how beautiful she was before. But now, he noticed everything. As if for the first time he saw her warm chocolate brown eyes, shining with happiness. Her pink, and very soft looking lips, fog gently escaping them. Natsu noticed how the snow falling made her look like an angel, especially with how her hair glowed in the Starlight.
Natsu licked his own lips, his emerald eyes greedily taking in how her coat hugged her body, her well endowed chest straining against their vile captor.
"Lucy…" he whispered, his voice stuck in his throat. Then suddenly he wrapped his arms around her, holding her close. "Thank you…" Tears softly fell from his eyes, as she hugged him back, the present still held in her hand.
Natsu pulled back a little, then gently kissed her lips. "Thank you Lucy. For everything." Lucy hugged him again, her arms tightly wrapped around him. "No Natsu. Thank you, because you gave me the best present I could wish for. You gave me a family again."
