This was meant for a book project, but I thought it was good so I put it on here.
Enjoy;D
Epilogue:
The trees arcing over the old gravel street are starting to turn green. Defrosting away the harsh winter that delayed the Ice cream man by three weeks. Sonia sits up from her antique rolling chair and leaves her cup of tea on the table. Walking through the beads that blatantly hide her inventory room, she grabs her cane and heads over to the old plasma-screen TV. This is the time of day she likes to play her granddaughter's favorite movie. She pops in the out dated DVD and immediately over dramatized music starts to play. Big orange letters that read Back to the Future flash across the screen. She smiles and starts walking back to her seat.
Passing back through the beads, the bells over the glass door jingle. Sonia, unpleased, turns around and walks to the front desk to see what unwind Hannah had sent her this time. A little warning would've been nice though, considering the bunker already has enough terrified rats down there, and she's running out of paper.
Sonia lifts her head to the door expecting to see a dirty face and butchered clothes. That's what most of her unwinds look like anyway She instead is welcome with the surprise of a young man staring at her with warm brown eyes, one looking slightly different from the other. Half of his face is badly scarred, but still managing to appear quite handsome. She walks over to him and looks him up an down. The skin color on his left arm is a bit more tan, and muscular. Sonia reaches out for it and runs her fingers across the tattoo of the shark. Her heart can only picture an old MP3 in its clutches. With a quick smirk she whips her cane across the mans legs. He cries out in pain, but then begins to laugh.
"I knew you would come back Connor." She says.
She begins to walk to the back room, where her travel sticker trunk is waiting to become one envelope lighter.
