This is a chat between Ron and Hermione before Harry found them after the last battle with Voldemort. (The part before "'It's me,' he muttered, crouching down between them. 'Will you come with me?'"). The story is not beta-ed as I dunno who to look for to beta this, maybe one of you can give me a idea. This is my first try at this kind of thing.
"Can we find somewhere to sit?" said Ron, looking tired but yet spirited.
"Oh, of course." replied Hermione.
The Great Hall crowded with people that were celebrating and grieving, which had made the atmosphere both happy and saddening at the same time. They walked to the entrance of the Great Hall and sat by the fallen door.
Ron started at Hermione, and Hermione did the same. After a few seconds of silence, which felt like eternity to Ron, Ron finally opens his mouth to speak.
"So… Any clue where Harry is?
It took Hermione a moment to register that Ron had spoken and was asking about the whereabouts of Harry. She looked around and all she sees was families reuniting, Neville being surrounded by a large group of people, and Luna pointing at the window about a Blibbering Humdinger. But there is no sign of Harry. She turned back to Ron and shook her head.
"I don't see him around. Do you think he's alright? I mean, he just defeated the darkest wizard of all time. This is going to be in the history books. The future generation would learn about what happened. Our children would kn-"
"Our…our children?"
Hermione realised what she had said and, like Ron, started to blush like a tomato as well. Ron grabbed hold of her hands. Hermione can feel that Ron is shaking, and looked at Ron with concern.
"Look Hermione, I want to talk…..talk about what happened outside the Room of Requirement." Ron choked nervously.
"What…what about it?"
"Why did you kiss me?"
"I…well…I…because-"
"It's me," Harry's voice muttered. Both Ron and Hermione turned around and saw no one. They figured Harry was probably under the Invisibility Cloak. Hermione wondered how much of the conversation had he overheard.
"Will you come with me?"
