"Come back here!" Danny yelled as he flew off after a ghost.
"I am the Box Ghost! You can not catch the Box Ghost," the slightly over weight, plump ghost said as he threw a random cardboard box at Danny.
Danny phased through the box, then continued after the ghost at top speed. "Let's see if Dad's deghostifier-thingy works," he said, then continued, "Man, I wish he would come up with better names for his inventions." He thought back to when his dad first made the thing.
"Look, Danny," Jack said, "it's the Fenton Deghostifier... thingy... Yes, it's the Fenton Deghostifier-thingy."
"Ok," Danny said, "what does it do?"
"Well, it takes away a ghost's... ghostiness-sity... Yeah! It makes them easier to catch and stuff..."
"Why do I even use these things?" Danny thought as he flew into a side alley. He found the Box Ghost there in the corner, and said, "Ok, Box Ghost, time to go home," and as he said this, the ghost phased through the wall.
"Man, why can't they make this easy?" he said as he phased through the wall. He found himself in someone's home, and caught a glimpse of the ghost phasing through another wall. He followed and found himself in the park. He saw the ghost flying away, took aim with the deghostifier-thingy, and took a shot. Suddenly, though, at the last second, the ghost phased through a person, and the beam shot out of the contraption, slamming into the unsuspecting teenager.
"Uh-oh..." Danny said, but then saw the ghost getting away. The Box Ghost turned around and shouted at him, "You can not possibly catch the Box Ghost!" Danny then rushed off after the ghost, completely forgetting about the teen.
Danny chased the Box Ghost into an ally and was just about to fire an ecto-blast at him.
"I am the Box Ghost!"
"How the heck do you keep getting out of the Ghost zone?" Danny wondered aloud, powering up the blast.
"I use my great knowledge of boxes! There is nothing that can entrap me within itself!" He said, turning to run away again when two ectoplasmic katana-like weapons came out of nowhere and stuck him up against the wall.
"Agh, you can not stop the Box Ghost!" He then began to wriggle around, but then exclaimed, "I cannot break free!"
"That's right," said someone behind Danny. He turned and found another boy, about his age, but a little taller in height. He had glowing yellow spiky hair and fiery red eyes. He was wearing a skintight suit, much like Danny's, but his were made up of different shades of grey.
"Hey, who are you?" Danny asked, but then remembered. "You're that guy I shot with the Deghostifier-thingy." Man, I have to come up with a better name for that...
