Time for another round of thanks, this time they go to Sincynati for so many reviews. I always appreciate a good review :)
She sat there calmly, watching the crowds and people walk by.
It had been almost half an hour, yet they were still to arrive.
The girl beside her, on the other hand, was fidgeting, waiting for them to come.
Temari smiled. "Restless today, aren't we?"
Tenten sighed. "They're not normally this late. Maybe they forgot?"
"Or maybe Shikamaru's being a bad influence on Neji."
Tenten giggled. "If anyone would say something about that, it would be me."
Temari laughed. "Well it's more than likely the truth."
"You're not very sweet to each other, are you?"
Temari continued looking into the crowds, not answering the question asked.
Tenten shrugged, but smiled.
She wished that she could know where the boys were. Tenten wasn't the waiting kind.
By the looks of things however, the blonde beside her was.
Temari noticed that she was staring at her, and turned around.
"What?"
This time it was Tenten who did the looking into the crowd.
"Well?"
Tenten put a teasing smile on her face. "Love is patient, love is kind..."
Temari raised an eyebrow. "I'm not kind, remember?"
Tenten laughed. "I'm sure that it takes a certain amount of kindness to be so calm while waiting for him."
Temari rolled her eyes, then smirked. "Well how about you start showing some patience."
The brunette blushed slightly, but decided that Temari was right, so her fidgeting stopped.
It was around then when two figures emerged from the crowd.
"Almost 40 minutes, that's got to be a new record for you lazy-ass."
Shikamaru smirked. "What, you keep track of when we meet?"
Neji interrupted. "Sorry we're late. Shikamaru and I were watching clouds, and I lost track of time."
Tenten looked at Temari.
"Told you," Temari grinned.
Tenten laughed, and the boys gave curious looks on their faces.
She got up and took Neji's hand. "It doesn't matter, what does is that you eventually showed up."
They began walking, leaving the other two behind.
Shikamaru looked at Temari. "Couldn't you have reacted more like that? At least she was patient."
She didn't answer him. All she did was take his arm.
Shikamaru chuckled. "Not what I was hoping for, but it's a start."
Neji and Tenten stopped to see where they were.
Temari smiled and put her head on his shoulder.
"Just shut up and and walk, Shikamaru."
