Just Like That

The blond Naruto Uzumaki sat alone in an empty park. He wore his casual clothing adding only a long faded scarf to keep his self warm from the cold winter night that had visited the city of Konoha, not that he cared if he'll freeze to death or something that concerned his existence. He didn't care if he was alone because he damn in hell knows that he will forever be alone, he didn't care if it was dark because he knows, damn in hell, he already know that he'll spend the rest of his life in these darkness even if it's day time. He just doesn't care. Naruto just don't give a damn about anything anymore, not after what just happened.

"It's over, everything is."

Those words echoed in his ears as if it just came out of his beloved's mouth, but no, Naruto heard it hours ago. He had said it hours ago just when the blond had arrived on this very spot, and he still had that bright and warm smile of his back then. But, well, it quickly disappeared when he came upon those four words. Those four short words that destroyed everything in his world, those four short words that came out out of a blue, those damn four short words that happens to resembled the number of years their relationship had and should have continued but suddenly ended just like that.

It's over. Everything is over just like that.

Pure white snow slowly fell from the dark, gloomy sky. Naruto looked up, his once clear and lively deep blue eyes now cloudy and sad. At least the cold snow was willing to be with him.

A bitter smile fell on his lips as he took out a small black box from his pocket. He sighed. Opening it, Naruto almost felt the invisible tears flooding his eyes and he let his misery and sadness engulf him whole.

The golden ring shone brightly at its place. Naruto had planned to propose to his beloved today. He had just been promoted to vice president in the company he had been working for and their sales had gotten up rapidly, because of that, the blond thought of marrying him now, he had many plans for the two of them and one of those is to spend their Christmas Eve together. Clearly, that's not likely possible. It's impossible to happen now and maybe it's impossible to happen forever.

Sasuke Uchiha just broke up with him for no reason. He just gave him a small piece of paper that the blond had not dared to open for he's afraid of what it may contain, and then he smirked arrogantly, saying that everything is over between them before walking away. He wanted to chase him for answers but something inside him stopped that from happening. Four years of happy love relationship now over just like that.

Closing the box and all the memories he held with him, and all the memories it should have held, the blond stood up. He put the box back to his pocket and then gripped the letter tightly, punishing it by crumbling it over and over. Poor paper. Now it looks like Christmas Eve had arrived and he just got his heart broken, what to do, what to do? There's not much choice is there? He just need to…spend Christmas without his Sasuke…no, the raven haired is not his anymore. Not anymore.

"Merry Christmas Sasuke."
