So another little fic about Watanuki and Doumeki's relationship with eachother. Originally I was going to make this a longer fic about the two of them getting together but I just thought it would be cuter to leave it off here to be a cute little drabble of sorts. I'll work on the longer one later I guess. :) Anyway enjoy! And I don't own the characters so don't sue me. :D Thanks.

That's it! That was the last and final straw! No one was going to stop the great Watanuki from pummeling this freeloader jerk into the ground!

Not only did Doumeki have the gall and audacity to ask him, the great Watanuki, to prepare him lunch like some sort of slave (oh, no) he had the gall and audacity to ask him like a slave to prepare lunch for him of a dish that was hard to make AND out of season.

Oh the great Watanuki could do it. You don't need to have any doubt about that. But that was just because Watanuki was a master chef with years of training and experience. Anyone else would have had a difficult if not impossible time making this dish. However the mere fact that Doumeki had requested this dish was proof that he was challenging Watanuki's capabilities as a chef. And the mere fact that he was challenging his capabilities as a chef was proof that Doumeki thought Watanuki couldn't do it.

Well, Doumeki, thought Watanuki with an evil cat-like grin, We'll see who'll be laughing when I will prepare this dish. You'll be so shocked that that ugly face of yours will do nothing but contort into an expression of pure shock and amazement. And then this dish will be so amazing that you'll have no choice but to worship at my feet and say, "Oh great Watanuki-sama, how could I have ever doubted your excellent cooking skills."

Oh how wonderfully delicious it will be to see you groveling like some wet sick dog thanking its master for its meal! It will almost be as delicious as my cooking. But not quite as delicious because nothing is better than my cooking.

And thus, as soon as Watanuki and Doumeki parted ways from walking home from school, Watanuki dashed off toward the direction of the grocery store so he could buy some ingredients.

The next day, Doumeki and Himiwari were waiting for Watanuki on the roof where they normally have lunch together.

"What is Watanuki making for lunch today?" Himiwari asked sweetly.

"Inari zushi." Doumeki replied.

Himawari gasped a little. "But isn't that hard to make? And out of season?"

Doumeki didn't so much as reply, as he merely grunted a response in the affirmative.

Himawari then had a confused look on her face and cutely pressed her index finger to her lip. She said, "You always ask Watanuki to make things for lunch that are hard to make, don't you, Doumeki? How is it that you know he'll always make it?"

Doumeki looked at Himawari for a bit. Then looked to the side clearly considering how exactly to put his answer. Then he replied, "Because his pride won't let him do otherwise."

There you have it! that's why Watanuki slaves over a hot stove for his man every day and totally not because he's in love with him or anything... oops I've said too much. tell me what you think *kisses*
