Pain and Poltergeists
The rock hit Sam square in the stomach, and he folded over as the muscles tensed, and pain spread throughout his body. He struggled to take in a breath.
That wasn't enough for this poltergeist, however. Before Sam could stand again, he was knocked flat.
He tried to push himself up, but the muscles refused, and he lay still, waiting for the next attack.
It didn't come. A familiar voice drifted in and he felt Dean's hands looking for wounds.
"Anything broken?"
Sam shook his head and coughed, though it was more of a wheeze.
"Next time, man, you are creating the distraction."
