A/N: My first fic on Fallen. I just love Cam that I have to write a oneshot about.
I might be writing in the future, right after I finish my fic about Bamon.
Anyway, enjoy!
Cam stared at the ocean. He still remembered her. Oh yeah; he still did. How could he forget the one and only person that ripped open his otherwise protected heart? It was right next to impossible.
He was just like Daniel. He fell for a human too. But Daniel was the lucky one. His girl got reincarnated every single time she died. But his girl? He lost her once and she never came back.
Cam took out a cigarette. Taking a lungful of this harmful stuff made him a little bit calmer. Not like he's going to die of cancer. This was where immortality got pretty handy.
He still remembered her fragrance, her soft features, her gleaming violet eyes, her full lips; everything was out of his reach –forever.
When he looked at Daniel and Luce, he felt like he'd been staked right through the heart. Shit, it's not like him to say such a corny line. But that's what Beth did to him. Yes, Beth was his girl. When he's with her, he would willingly say all the cheesy lines he knew. For her, he would do anything.
How did he fall for her? This was the interesting part –because when he fell for her, he fell hard. He found her just a couple of decades ago. Yeah, he admitted; he thought that he won't find his soul mate for eternity. But finally he did. And he didn't mind the long wait at all. Because when he found her, he knew she was the one; he didn't have to find anyone else –she's the one for him.
She was a florist. She's silly and witty and funny. The day Cam fell for her, she was with her friends and she was talking something gibberish. But what attracted Cam most was how true she was.
The kiss. It was nothing like he had experience. It was like electricity flowed inside him; coursing through every single veins. But he had been oblivious. He never knew that would happen. He wished he could take it all back. He wished he never went to her. At least by that he got the chance to watch her from the distance.
But no! He had to go to her. Now where that brought them? He was all alone and Beth was not here with him anymore.
Cam threw the cigarette on the sand and crushed it with his foot. He felt cold all over. But with the memories of her always on his mind, he'd survive.
It's a little bit sad, but I want to show how Cam can be a different person when he's in love.
