a/n: Did anybody else watch this movie and just want Eduardo and Mark to end up together? The two of them are just so tragic and heartbreaking and I'm pretty sure they're secretly in love with each other. Anyway sorry this sucks and is incredibly short… I just had to write something for these two.

He thinks maybe, if Eduardo hadn't tried to become a part of the Phoenix, things wouldn't have turned out the way they did.
They'd still both have money, and facebook.
But maybe they'd have each other.

He thinks of Eduardo the moment he reaches a million members on facebook.
Maybe it's because he was standing across from him yelling, just a few seconds ago.
Mark doesn't really think that's the reason though.
Because maybe if things were different they would be celebrating this moment together.

Sorry I lied to you.
Sorry I screwed you out of billions of dollars.
Sorry I left you behind.
Mostly he's just sorry he'll never have the guts to say he's sorry.

The last time he sees Eduardo they're sitting across from each other, surrounded by lawyers and endless paper work.
Neither of them says anything, but words aren't really necessary. Not when Eduardo's cold, hard eyes are staring holes through him.
Mark finds it hard to believe the two of them used to be best friends.
