Away from the world, nowhere that is near
Released from his bounds, his power once more
His emotions hidden, deep in the core
No tears to be shed, no smile to tell
If this creature is not feeling too well
Day by day his strength wanes each hour
His mistress cannot support his power
More time passes, the more he is fading
Unable to last, consciousness shading
The sun and moon share between them is light
His soul, his power, not burning as bright
The Snow Bunny suffers yet not the same
The Moon Child must endure all the pain
Unable to stay with the waking world
Powerless to protect, to keep his word
Quiet is he, the Guardian of the Moon
His other half and he shall be gone too soon
Days turn to hours, hours to moment's end
Power nearly gone, no strength to defend
Soft angel feathers, fly gently through air
Tears from his mistress, scared for the pair
Don't cry for us, mistress, Yue would say
You shall gain power, if not on this day
Tears flowing freely, soft touch on her face
Sakura could not help it, she felt unsafe
As sad as it was, a heartbreaking smile
She would remember it always, much more than a while
Vanishing away, magic gone without a trace
Always in their hearts, that always shall be their place
Echoing last words, the guardian softly spoke
Words nothing more than a bittersweet anecdote
[Wow… this turned depressing oO; Longer than I expected… Some lines may not work or 'click' because I was half awake, more or less. But I wrote a poem! And tis… uh… two thirty now… It wasn't meant to be depressing, I swear! ;-; ah well… hope you enjoyed it.]
