Disclaimer: I do not own the sailor moon characters. I only own my ooc's.
A/N: this is a prequel for my other story the hardest decision.
Haruka's POV:
I was outside throwing the half deflated basketball through the makeshift hoop that my father had put up to keep me out of his sight for most of the time. However then my ball got away from me and rolled toward the sidewalk, just as a strange girl with long black hair was going by on a push scooter.
The next thing either of us knew was that there was a crash and the girl was on the sidewalk, blood seeping from her left leg where the skin had been skinned back by the concrete.
"I am so sorry." I said as I held my hand out to the smaller girl, who hesitantly took my hand.
"It's okay." She sniffled as she stood up and let me lead her toward my house.
"I'll go get the first aid kit." I stated with a sigh as I walked into the house and grabbed the small kit that I kept hidden under the sink.
As I patched the new girl up I tried to make conversation.
"I'm Haruka Tenou, I'm thirteen." I stated and she glanced up at me.
"I'll turn twelve in a few days. My name is Tsuki Saravan." The dark haired girl stated with a shy smile "though I like the name Suki better."
"Cool, hey my parents are out of town this weekend. Want to play ball?" I asked and she nodded then blushed as she said
"I'm not very good."
I could have laughed at her innocence but I didn't and tossed the ball to her.
"Don't worry, I'll teach you." I stated as I grabbed her hand and led her to the garage.
She seriously had no hand eye coordination but she was determined to learn and I decided that I would teach her even if she was a year and a half younger than me.
By that evening we were both sweaty and bruised but she seemed a whole lot less shy than she was previously.
"See you tomorrow!" She called and I smiled
"See you!" I called back and ten headed inside to try to find something to eat, though I decided on a cup of instant ramen.
I couldn't believe that I had made a new friend since most girls thought I was weird because I didn't like dolls and makeup but I liked cars and martial arts. With I sigh I ate the food and I walked up to my small bedroom and lay down on the old hard mattress and tried to find the most comfortable position to sleep.
