"What's wrong Gom?"
"Yeah, you look like you've seen a ghost."
Those two are my friends, Red and Ariza. And maybe I haven't seen a ghost, but I'm definitely not fine.
Red peers over my shoulder to see the messages on my phone. "No," he says quietly, "this HAS to be a prank, what it's suggesting is impossible! It's not physically possible!"
Toni pokes his head into the room, probably confused by Red's yelling. "What's going on guys?" Immediately he sees that my phone is the cause, and pulls it gently from my hands.
He turns away from us and reads for a minute. "Wha- HOW?"
Ariza crosses her arms, clearly irritated that she hasn't seen it yet. "It can't be that bad, can it?"
No one says anything, Toni just hands the phone to her.
After a few seconds of reading, she casually hands my phone back. "She's probably just pranking you. After all, this is the type of thing she would pull. Buuuuuuut, if you're this worried, try to contact her on the group chat."
2 HOURS LATER
"She isn't answering on any of her social media!" I exclaimed, frustrated.
"Then maybe she just wants to be left alone. It's a possibility, you know." Ariza pressed, though she did seem pretty worried.
"But it's been two whole hours!" Red whined. "That's not like her," he said, in a much more vulnerable tone.
"Red's right," Toni told Ariza.
"We need to find her! This sounds like adventure!" I smiled, putting my hand in front of the others. "Who's with me?"
Toni firmly places his hand on mine. Next, Red smiles and starts tickling Toni's hand.
"Please don't do that."
Red grins sheepishly. "Oh, sorry."
We all look up at Ariza expectantly. For a few seconds, she just stares at our hands.
Ariza sighs. "If you insist…" She gently puts her hand on top, a small smile forming. "I'll come with."
"So, where to, Gommie?" Toni asks expectantly.
I honestly didn't think we'd get this far. "I have no clue."
