I looked at my reflection. I had blood splattered on my face, and my hair was matted with mud and blood. My nails were filled with blood and peaces of skin. I killed them. They are all dead. All but her. She smelled of fear. It smelt good. But there was something wrong. she smelled of fear but there was another smell. No there were two other smells and they were coming from her. She seemed to sense my confusion and she held herself. my suspicions were confirmed. She had twins.
I started to creep towards her. She saw this, panicked and started to run but to no avail. I pounced on her and we fell to the ground and started falling down the cliff.
My demon side told me to protect her. I wrapped my arms around her and shielded her. I saw trees fast approaching. I didn't have time to feel pain for upon impact all went black.
When I woke up I was by a river. She was laying under my arm crying. I was human. I removed my arm and went to clean up. When I saw my self I almost threw up. It was like this when she finally stopped crying. I didn't move.
"InuYasha." She said. I cringed but other wise I didn't move. "What happened?" She asked.
"I killed them. Everyone. Songo, Mirocu, Shippo, kirara, Kedai, everyone." I said shakily. Her face paled.
"Everyone?" I nodded. I had been staring at my self for a while now and decided that I was sick of it. I striped off both of my shirts and dived in. I stayed under for who knows how long. I considered drowning but decided against it. My dying would bring them back.
When I surfaced she was still there. Just staring at me. Her black hair had been in one of those ponytails but she had bulled it out. Her brown eyes were sad. I went back under and shook my head tried to get both my head and fingers clean.
When I came back up and looked at my reflection. My hair was still black and all traces of blood and mud were gone. My nails had also lost all traces of blood and skin. I hated being human. So why is it that I'm attracted to her?
Soon I got out and just sat there looking at the new moon. I heard sobbing.
"Why?" She whispered.
I shrugged, "I don't know".
Soon she started to sob harder. My senses told me to hold her tightly. I turned around and walked over to her and wrapped her up in my arms. I didn't know what to do. All I knew was that I needed to protect her. My Kagome.
