Everything was dark in the room, the curtains shut to drown out the street lights.
Everything was blackened to try and hide what had happen, what was happening, and where she was.
Nothing ever worked though. The air was still a bitter cold, the same as the pit of her stomach and the pain in her heart. The air stung ruthlessly, the air full of unwelcome and unrecognizable sounds and scents, and it only got worse.
The bitterness, the coldness, the pitch black stil ldidn't help the one thing that overshadowed her.
The heavy, thick, metallic scent of his blood.
The doorknob turned, Momo stiffening, her fists clenching the blanket around her that did nothing. The still didn't move, knowing that it might be something good. A doctor, someone to save him... the hospital was a place for healing, not for dying...
But why did he have to do that...?
She shivered, sliding off the edge of the bed, unmoving as the light flickered on to show the one thing she never wanted to see in the first place.
Him, lying there, motionless, all those wires and tubes just keeping him alive...
The one person she'd given up on had given everything for her...
Everything...
A/N: Can you guess who he is? )
